- In this video I take a ride around New York City to run a quick errand without too much protective safety gear on. I do it instantly regret it because I don't feel comfortable riding around without protecting my body. However it is still a great learning experience and you can ride along with me and listen to me share my thoughts about what's going on at the moment and in the world today.

I think the video is pretty good, you have to consider the terrain you are going over, the distance the stick is away from the body and the air flow. I'd say keep do what you're doing.

I did a test video first for 17 seconds to get the shakes out then recorded my real video.
Guess what happened though. No shaking on either video. My other suspicion is that I sometimes need to tighten (twist) the camera harder onto the selfie stick in case it’s loose and shaking.
I appreciate the solid advice.
I edited this particular one on my phone using the new app they released.

Agreed. I feel like knee pads are the most critical thing after helmet, but wrist guards are probably next or maybe even before.
Hello hello! I been waiting for you to upload! I was out there all day yesterday. My feet hurt. Hit the Willis bridge twice. I been doing good with my Sherman. Had a few stumbles but have not hit the floor yet. Thank god. Got all my gear and ready for the inevitable. And you always find time to answer my comments. I appreciate you. I’m surprised you went out without your full gear. I went to the supermarket this morning without mine. 😬I recorded some of my journey from my first commute. I put on some erides pedals and waterproofed my screen. Did it at AI rides with Sam. I will edit and upload my video to my channel when I have a chance. Question where do you keep your mic clipped on to you? I don’t see it on your sweater. And how did you get the data on? Did you run darkness bot and screen record?

I keep my microphone clipped by my chin on my helmet strap. I try to point the mic part forward and of course it’s covered by a furry cover to protect from wind noise!
Can’t wait to tag along on some of your journeys. Don’t over think the edit, just try to get some footage but their asap! 😃

I leave it on 4k60 360 mode.
It is a headache at first but it gets better.
You can use auto lock in editing but I think videos come out better if you do it manually. It does take time to learn though.

I didn’t even feel comfortable without gear on for the most part.
The 360 seems to have fixed itself but I am keeping an eye out for any more trouble for now, or a firmware update as you suggested!

Ride idea: Take train to Montauk (ride around Hamptons) then ferry to Block Island (ride around island), then back to NYC... 12 hour trip. Charge on trains and ferry and at restaurants.

I want to know about the Sherman-S right now it looks to meelike the best long-range suspension wheel. Should we be weary of 100v wheels? What does voltage really contribute?
You said you like it when you rode with those guys, and I thought you pulled the trigger on one. I weigh 235. All the stats feel lessened for me, so I need to choose carefully.
I love the Sherman S. I didn’t buy one but I certainly would even despite the Lynx.
I am delaying the purchase of a new wheel for as long as possible because I don’t feel like it’s fiscally responsible until I get a higher return on my investment for all the money I spent on my original Sherman.
It’s very easy to get swept up in the hype and glamour of the new wheels but I’m not sure I can afford the resale value depreciation hit that comes with upgrading so frequently. I will have to wait for now.
What wheel do you have in your sights?
@EUC-NYC-GUY I have a v12. At 235, I can get it to 40 before it tilts me back, and I get about 40 reasonable miles out of it. At speed, the lack of suspension and 16-inch responsiveness feel kind of crazy. Sherman S feels like the clear choice for range and suspension. I can't wait to get my filthy hands on one.
