    I came across your Chanel and am so glad I did because I’m thinking of opening up a home daycare! I have a 7 month old baby and I’d love to continue being with him and earn money at the same time !

    I came across you channel and I'm intrigued, some of the things you said are a bit different in Trinidad and Tobago. At 1/3 of your video you said that people wouldn't want to bring there children to daycare because there aren't other children.... in Trinidad the less children the more supervision for your child. I've worked in several daycares and its different, even to the fact that I'm currently building my house the the downstairs a daycare, telling people of my future goals is all I need to do. They constantly call and as for latest update of the house and not to forget to advertise opening day. 🤷‍♀️ probably its different in some countries.

    Do you have tips on how to properly price? My wife and I have debated started a daycare. However, what we pay for our daughter’s daycare is pretty different vs what we see advertised in our area. Our daughter goes to a home daycare that I pass on my way to work. The cost is $50/day. However, some of the home daycares we looked at that were closer to our house were $120-$130/week.

      Hi, Everyone charges different based on experience, curriculum & what they offer but a good way to start is by basing it off of your towns/areas market rate. You can call your licensing to get this rate. You can also call around other centers in your area to get an idea of what they are charging. I hope this helps! Best of luck :)

    Hi, im planning to start a home daycare, but i have no experience. Can i get a lisence in any other option or should i go get one year experience n then start?

      My state requires 3 months of experience before you can open a licensed daycare. I’m sure it varies from state to to state.

    Could you clarify what kind of insurance we need to purchase? I own my home so I have home owners insurance is that what you're referring to?

    • @isabelfaith
      @isabelfaith  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Typically most Home owners insurance will not cover your Home Daycare & has to be purchased separately. But that can vary State to State. I would recommend checking with your Home Insurance Provider first. Home owners is great to have though to protect your property. And for separate insurance, General Liability to protect your home, self, families & employees, and Errors & Omissions to protect you and your business from any false claims made by families. I hope this was helpful! Thank you for stopping by!
