Oh Brother Where Art Thou (radio guy) and News Radio ✔️✔️💙 Also, Jamie and Samm are amazing with the info they bring up at lightning speed. Of course KP and his great impressions and interviews.
You know, when Stephen Root said he was going to do an impression, as soon as he said "Hello," I knew it would be Mister Ed. So, um, good impression! Haha.
I'd like to watch those old Tonight Show appearances, kind of a weird thing to throw away! I'd also pay to see recordings of these hyped-up weekly poker games as a KPCS spin-off.
Shorter, but tighter appearance than his 1st. A shame he didn't ask Stephen about Turn, I loved him on it. Oh, and time for a new game, this Larry one getting stale.
would have been cool to hear stephen root's shatner story but they had to do that riggle bit and not listen to him say things you'd think would be of interest.
amazing ending. I never clap at the end of a youtube vid but that ending got me clapping. but Kevin. you didnt mention his work in KOTH or boardwalk empire. fuck dudeee
"The Golden Years"... wow, I completely forgot about that one! Not a great one, but it IS Stephen King, so I enjoyed it immensely; main character is old, and starts growing younger... but not the drama of Benjamin Button. Just an odd story. Fun though.
Root fascinates me. I have been paying attention to him ever since News Radio. He shows up in everything. Great actor. He is not particularly interesting personally, except his stories of all the stuff he has done. I guess that is why 2 KPCS's later and he only has 2 hours, where some have well over 2 hours in one visit. He doesn't seem to be a bad guy though. Lousy at the Larry King Game though.
Wish Kevin could have given Stephen Root's iconic role in Office Space a lot more time. I was disappointed by the drive by handling almost as if he wish he didn't even have to talk about it at all. It's what Root will be most remembered for... fair or not. Isn't it interesting that a Shakespearean trained actor has forged a long career with so many oddball roles. This happens all the time.
This aged poorly. Root will be remembered for The Last of Us, Fringe, Barry, and probably more things in the future. He is one of the most brilliant actors that ever lived. Office Space isn't a patch on most of his other work.
Stephen is always the best part of everything he touches, brilliantly funny and talented actor!
You're brilliant Kevin! Love you! Finally a talk, er, chat show with a host that actually does some research on his guests before interviewing them!
I could listen to Old Al Pachino read ad copy all day. Very much looking forward to C. Walken doing the next!

Root is the best character actor working today.
A trick : watch movies at Kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using them for watching loads of movies recently.
@Leonidas Dominic Yup, have been using kaldroStream for years myself =)

Those guys are dropping the ball on the buffering gag.
A bit old at this point. It was funny the first 2 times, but it isn't all that funny anymore.
36:02 - 38:12 If you stare at the Mack Weldon logo long enough you'll see a unicorn driving a spaceship.
Fortunately My MOther the Car hasn't come back -- yet.
Guest appears at 6:29
Holy fuck. One dislike for the "Schatt Show". I'm binge watching the schatt out of these!
Great stuff.
Kevin let 'em speak will ya, jeez
Oh YOU'RE the guy they make those penguin shirts for. Always wondered.

Kind of amazing the same guy can be both from Milton from Office Space and the creepy blind art collector from Get Out.
Yeah acting sure is crazy
and the bombastic Jimmy James
3:46 Shat Show. Is that like if William Shatner had his own podcast, he'd call it The Shat Show?
would have been cool to hear stephen root's shatner story but they had to do that riggle bit and not listen to him say things you'd think would be of interest.
Car alarm! LOL

Anyone see stephen root as the Gay vampire on True Blood ?
I'm here for Stephen Root, not Kevin Pollak. Wish he'd stop talking about himself.
Ah you beat me to it I saw him do a great interview with Billy Bob Thornton he just won't shut the fuck up on this one.

He does have a shit load of acting credits.. 220 right now on IMDB. That's gotta be in the upper echelon.
No mention of No Country for Old Men?
You can hear someone's voicemail without trying to call them?
$200 A week acting!?!? That's good money now, BOING!!!!!!!
Good but needed more Newsradio and Office Space.

Root's characters are way funnier than he is.
Yup. Being the new kid sucks.
SORT YOUR FUCKING AUDIO OUT. IT'S NOT HARD.
Jaimie, you're beautiful but your style is unfortunate.
