Claire's version was the FIRST Resident Evil I played as a little girl (I was 11 at the time) and I remember my brother and I taking turns on the PC so we could play together (we were scared to play alone lol) and I remember the music and everything so vividly. (He's a truck driver) My dad: its 1 of them you have no idea how dangerous it is and how stupid some people are. And then proceeded with a 20 minute rant about how he almost runs people over everyday because they don't look both ways when they cross the street or suspect that an 18-wheeler can stop in a 40 foot radius fully loaded at a few tons and it can't. My dad was a truck driver and told me once he had a car pull out in front of him and then slam their brakes to turn onto a street. He knew there was a cute family in the minivan next to him and he was just like, "Well, looks like your going to die today because I'm not killing them." However the car turned very quickly to get out of the way so thankfully no one died and my dad said he was thankful he didn't become a killer that day. I was so happy when he stopped truck driving. I have a large amount of respect for our truck drivers and the shit they have to go through. Your dad is an amazing man.

There is few/couple of anime movies adapted from the game (Biohazard, Degeneration etc?) You could try and watch it, but if you played the game and watched the anime, you might know there is some information missing. It happens when it gets adapted. Being censored, cut out things important and so on. To some people, they think: Nah, I'm fine with that. But to the people who has been waiting for their fave manga (or any other origins) to be adapted and find bits and pieces missing. They get triggered. So be warned if you like the origins
Jack, I hope maybe you see this. Usually I don't comment on videos because I'm extremely shy but I just wanted to share a few things since I'll be getting my copy of the game tomorrow. I wanted to share some info, though since it's based mostly on the original RE2 and some RE1 idk if it's relevant or not to the remake. The only thing that would be for sure is the herb info and possibly the defense item info. I have no clue if the key system is the same as the original RE2, but don't discard keys. Try keeping them stashed for a while instead. In the original they unlocked multiple doors with the same key and eventually you got a message alerting that the key is now useless since you unlocked all the doors for the specific key. Like all spade key doors upon being opened would tell you 'you no longer need this item' or something along those lines. When it comes to healing items, First Aid Sprays and Red+Green Herb combos are more valuable than basic green herbs or Green+Green combos. It would be better to stash first aid sprays and red+green combos in your item box for later in the game as more bosses and harder enemies start coming in. For the most part though, you should be safe just keeping a couple green+green herbs with you for now. Also try to keep a self defense item on you. I really hope this message isn't taken as me being nitpicky! I just wanted to be helpful since you mentioned never playing the first three games. You should visit them and play them though if you get the chance, though RE3 seemed a bit repeaty (Still good though!) maybe since it's just about Jill's escape from Racoon City. I would recommend playing Code Veronica (if you haven't) as a part 2 to the third game since that seemed more like a follow up to RE2 at the time. If you did manage to see this somehow, thank you for reading and I hope you have a really awesome time playing the game! This Remake is really cool so far and I'm enjoying watching you play. :) Edit; I have a cat who blocked my view a lot while I was watching to try to play with the image so I did actually wind up missing all of the Spade door being opened. That being said, ignore the part about keys. :)
The only annoying part of this game is the "COMBINE" option when it comes to weapons and your bullets. You have to have your weapon in hand to reload your weapon. It wont let you combine ammo to your weapon when your in the INVENTORY mode view, that is very annoying, other than that, I believe its pretty much the same mechanics as the original RE2 game, with some improved RE4 movement and RE7 mechanics, just my personal opinion from what I have seen on RadBrad's lets play of this game, cheers.

As someone who played the original RE 2 this is like a nostalgia rollercoaster for me, but even then the thing I enjoyed the most about this chapter was Jack constantly pointing out just how sexy Leon is.

Awww man I miss the deep voiced "Resident evil.....two" starter when you start the game. Another trip down nostalgia lane! Sofar its nice, at the beginning (in the original) you could although go into a store and after the clerk gets killed you would have aquired his shotgun. Dont know if you did overlook it or if they took it out.
They took it out, but you can get it from rpd storage pretty early

I feel like RE7 leaned more into psychological horror, which made it scarier. RE2 leaned into survival horror, which isn't the best when it comes to scares.

Claire's version was the FIRST Resident Evil I played as a little girl (I was 11 at the time) and I remember my brother and I taking turns on the PC so we could play together (we were scared to play alone lol) and I remember the music and everything so vividly. My dad was a truck driver and told me once he had a car pull out in front of him and then slam their brakes to turn onto a street. He knew there was a cute family in the minivan next to him and he was just like, "Well, looks like your going to die today because I'm not killing them." However the car turned very quickly to get out of the way so thankfully no one died and my dad said he was thankful he didn't become a killer that day. I was so happy when he stopped truck driving. I have a large amount of respect for our truck drivers and the shit they have to go through. Your dad is an amazing man.

There is few/couple of anime movies adapted from the game (Biohazard, Degeneration etc?)
You could try and watch it, but if you played the game and watched the anime, you might know there is some information missing. It happens when it gets adapted. Being censored, cut out things important and so on.
To some people, they think: Nah, I'm fine with that. But to the people who has been waiting for their fave manga (or any other origins) to be adapted and find bits and pieces missing. They get triggered. So be warned if you like the origins

Jack, I hope maybe you see this. Usually I don't comment on videos because I'm extremely shy but I just wanted to share a few things since I'll be getting my copy of the game tomorrow. I wanted to share some info, though since it's based mostly on the original RE2 and some RE1 idk if it's relevant or not to the remake. The only thing that would be for sure is the herb info and possibly the defense item info.
I have no clue if the key system is the same as the original RE2, but don't discard keys. Try keeping them stashed for a while instead. In the original they unlocked multiple doors with the same key and eventually you got a message alerting that the key is now useless since you unlocked all the doors for the specific key. Like all spade key doors upon being opened would tell you 'you no longer need this item' or something along those lines.
When it comes to healing items, First Aid Sprays and Red+Green Herb combos are more valuable than basic green herbs or Green+Green combos. It would be better to stash first aid sprays and red+green combos in your item box for later in the game as more bosses and harder enemies start coming in. For the most part though, you should be safe just keeping a couple green+green herbs with you for now.
Also try to keep a self defense item on you.
I really hope this message isn't taken as me being nitpicky! I just wanted to be helpful since you mentioned never playing the first three games. You should visit them and play them though if you get the chance, though RE3 seemed a bit repeaty (Still good though!) maybe since it's just about Jill's escape from Racoon City. I would recommend playing Code Veronica (if you haven't) as a part 2 to the third game since that seemed more like a follow up to RE2 at the time.
If you did manage to see this somehow, thank you for reading and I hope you have a really awesome time playing the game! This Remake is really cool so far and I'm enjoying watching you play. :)

I have a cat who blocked my view a lot while I was watching to try to play with the image so I did actually wind up missing all of the Spade door being opened. That being said, ignore the part about keys. :)
The only annoying part of this game is the "COMBINE" option when it comes to weapons and your bullets. You have to have your weapon in hand to reload your weapon. It wont let you combine ammo to your weapon when your in the INVENTORY mode view, that is very annoying, other than that, I believe its pretty much the same mechanics as the original RE2 game, with some improved RE4 movement and RE7 mechanics, just my personal opinion from what I have seen on RadBrad's lets play of this game, cheers.
