Mike is a loss to this community that cannot be replaced. He was a real friend and one of the few people who stood by me through thick and thin. I know precisely where this man went after he died. I hope I can deserve to be there too someday.

Mike was a positive force in the guitar community and never an ill word said. I loved checking in to see his videos....again a positive force. He left us all better than he found us. Godspeed....
For some reason I found the intro very poignant... Just that opening shot of all Mike's gear, just as he left it the last time he played. That just got me somehow, and can't really explain it. I suppose it's just that it was his "happy place" as Sarah put it. All his favourite things, arranged how he liked them.

Mike helped me thru my cancer treatments. Unselfishly,honest, and I'm here because of his upbeat words of encouragement. My grandchildren will know of Mike and how true giants walked this earth..RIP mate..

Mike is a perfect example of a life well lived. We are all better for having known him or even being lucky enough to call him our friend. His legacy will live on. My prayers are for peace and comfort for his family and close friends as they continue to grieve his untimely loss. He was a true bright light in a very dark world. I too will strive to be more like him and to never let anyone that I love go a day without me telling and showing them that I do. Our life is but a vapor and I too look forward to seeing Mike again one day. God bless and rest easy my brother 🙏💙🎸👍

I am over here teary eyed I am just now finding out about Mike. I have been 1ofhissubscribers for about four years I love his contespecially when he done the Jimi Hendrix guitar I can't believe hes gone. I am so hard bro he will definitely be missed. That's for sure he was probably the only TH-cam her that went. I wrote a comment he would always give it a heart and some kind of responsebob that really meant the world to me. I have even gone back and watched some of his videos again but now. I'm going to have to go back and watch them all again. Rest in peace Mike.

My heart sank a little when i saw the title, I had only the barest of interactions with Mike but he was a fine man whose current chapter had a fitting ending.

"Mike" touched SO many lives! I wish I could have met him in-person. From what I know of him, he loved music, but he loved his friends more. The one thing I'm absolutely sure of is that his family was his greatest sense of pride, love and life. Every time he was on a live stream, I would pop in the chat and he would call me out by name and talk as if he was sitting across the room (instead of across the world). He had a gift of bringing people together. Even though his mouth was a bit "salty", his heart was golden!
For those who knew him and cared for him, "Take good care"!

So sorry that Mike has passed. I Neve met him personally but always he would answer me whenever I messaged him. Always with a lot of Love and compassion. I will miss him as many will do. Lets hope he is in a better place and with is voice back.

I never met 'Mike' in real life, and only managed to speak to him via comments and emails we shared. I started following him about a decade ago because he just seemed like a decent bloke, when so many people on TH-cam were clearly anything but.
We were almost the same age - just the matter of a few months difference - and I know he'd have been a great person to share a meal or session with.
I'm so glad I was able to voice one of his videos and give back a little to someone who I felt I knew like a real life friend.
Best of luck to all the family, and I look forward to seeing the fantastically talented Emily going from strength to strength in her career.

Mike was a really nice guy. When we first crossed our swords about Chinese guitars and I thought he was just far from nice. Soon I found out he was more than that. After all he was mine and always everybody else friend. Such a nice guy and that's it...!!
