Thanks for those tips. I am a 58 yr old X-cattle farmer in the Boston Mountain range. After extensive research, I bought the mini 3 pro with the RC as my very first drone. I also bought the extra blade pack and battery packs (45m) with the 3 battery charger.) I couldn’t have made a better choice for a beginner drone pilot. It was a little intimidating at first so it sat in its box for a week after it arrived. I was almost scared to fly it in fear of crashing ; BUT, I reviewed the beginner instructions several times and took off. I was in awe what it could do. Now I check on my cattle while never having to leave my house. I’m also on the pre-order list for the DJI propeller guard. I also bought the two year replacement insurance and landing gear so it’s up off the ground. I absolutely! Love this drone and would recommend it to everyone thinking about getting into flying. It can be a wonderful useful tool. I’ve taken it up 1/4 mile with a 1 mile distance with no problems. I can’t express how much I enjoy this drone.!!!!!!
Be careful friend. Faa gets real pissy about there drone laws. Do yourself a favor and research the laws for ark or ok. Pretty sure the national altitude max is 400 feet lol. 1/4 mile up will land you a very hefty fine or worse....... happy fpving!

Yeah… I didn’t realize there were height rules prior to looking into it which was afterwards; however the view was still incredible and I had no idea how much fun that would be. Where I live we only get Military choppers that fly anywhere from an altitude of 600’ and up and directly over our house and we are extremely rural. Not sure if when they do that , it’s legal but it’s cool to watch and see them so close up.
Be careful it's super fragile and lite one of the reasons I bought the dji air 2s. I also live in a rural area and we get a lot of wind because of flat open spaces and I previously owned a mini 2 and had it not return to me because of the strong wind. It just too lite. Always be mindful what direction you fly out a long distance as it should be against the wind and not with it. You can get it back much easier

@@lionheart.5983 Well now you can get the Mini 3 for half the price of the Air2s now, if you want obstacle avoidance I would STILL recommend Mini 3 pro over the Air2s personally.
I got the mini 3, it’s the perfect drone for a beginner. obstacle avoidance isn’t needed when you live in the prairies and there is a way for it to track your movements with the mini 3 very easily.
I just bought the mini three and I’m very happy with that❤

I’d save my pennies for the pro… I do have a couple of drones that I love big time and they’re very capable of everything that I need. But the pro is what I would definitely try to get if I were in the market for that.
Question my man- I’m looking to get into and buy a drone for the first and I’m looking for something that is a cheap price (500 ish but willing to spend more) and could do some things for a business potentially? Keep in mind I have little to no background about drones/laws
@@Niko-wl4gs id go with the mini 3 pro. It has a very good camera and you wont notice a lot of improvement when spending more on bigger drones. Also both these mini 3 drones weigh less than 250 grams so there is almost no restriction as opposed to heavier drones which is a huge advantage if you want to commercially film. This drone can also rotate its camera so you can shoot footage meant for instagram or tiktok which is pretty important for a lot of businesses these days. Tbh you can easily go with any dji drone without experience its very user friendly.

You would not believe how much one little mistake makes a video go viral because people love to point out mistakes. This creates engagement, thus telling TH-cam that it's interesting, thus pushing it out to many more people to watch. Very effective strategy, and you fell for it. 😁

I am from India l can't buy it from here because of heavy government tax. It would be the double of the real price. After all l ordered it in this heavy price by online two times (Amazon, Flipcart) but their sellers tried to cheat me. I am very disappointed about my plight. It's my fate to live in this miserable country. I love living in Europe and US by knowing your culture and the trust of each other. I love mini 3 pro can l ever get a mini3 pro.
This keeps popping up on my feed and it has some mistakes. 1st, the mini 3 does have downward obstacle avoidance (just not forward and back), 2nd, it can shoot at 60 fps (just not at 4K). Let’s be honest, forward and backwards obstacle avoidance are rarely the issue, it is side to side, which neither of these drones have. Better practice for slower footage would be just to fly slower. If you are shooting lots of low to the ground shots with people or animals, then you may want to shoot at 60 fps.
I mean, who tf using 6400 iso and getting good shots, the only reason to use it is to see at night if you need to

3 pro well worth the extra $$, although I have never achieved 150 mbits, more like 93 when opening a raw file with QT and looking at movie inspector. MOV/HEVC/D-Cinelike.
