On PS5 you still need to click the controller icon and change the connection to USB otherwise the cord will only charge the controller but still use Bluetooth
look up wifi extenders with an ethernet port, they are basically a second router but it uses the internet of your current one and extends it to wherever you need. then plug in an ethernet cable from there
Had one me personally controller is too small for my hands my hands are way too big the fusion pro is the only controller that fits my hands perfectly and feels right to me
