Hi, excellent lesson. I have a question. Why is 'any' used in exercise 24 (There is hardly any food left in the refrigerator)? Sentence 24 is an affirmative sentence, isn't it? Thanks.
Hello Ivana. We have a small vocabulary and it’s difficult for us to understand what is being said in a sentence. Because of this, we don’t understand😢
Many thanks from Arkhangai Province, Mongolia. It's an excellent tool to use in my English class.
Glad it is helpful!

"Hardly" has a negative meaning. It normally means ‘almost not at all/scarcely’ xxx
That's right!
OK, I got it. Thank you for this useful information.
