Amazing cards. I love what you did with these products and your Christmas lights were so realistic using the vellum. What a great idea. Thanks so much for another great video.
“Splatter” is what you’re doing, decor painting and so on. “Spatter” is used to describe how something “happened”. Such as direction, depth, distance and so on. Think crime scene. “Spatter” is how blood residue is described. (Yep, I’m retired law enforcement 😂😂😂) Absolutely amazing cards! You are so beyond skilled!!!
Lovely cards. I have a pile of backgrounds that I made by dry embossing with a folder that with pine branches a little like this, then using gold embossing powder to highlight the raised areas. I made them last year. Plus I have backgrounds with pine branches using hot foiling. None of them are the same as this but you’ve inspired me to use them, adding similar elements from my stash. I’d love to do the class but I noticed that you have to order by 1 October if you want everything to arrive on time so now I’m trying to weigh up buying the bundle or just the class . Plus all the classes people run in the US seem to be in the middle of the night for me, then I lose track of how to access them. I’m sure I should have access to classes I haven’t seen! I really like it when everything is in the one place. Organisation is a challenge! But I’d like to do the class regardless.
Got really excited about the white spray😢 just hunted on google, not available in UK its $27.36 for shipping. Kelly I love watching your videos and have learnt so much, but please remember not all your followers are in America😂 Maybe next year on my birthday I can make up an order to get free shipping😅 Yippee storytime soon❤
I also live in UK and have checked for you and you can buy the acrylic spray from hero arts from bumbleberry paper crafts. I use them for some American crafts products/companies. Hope this helps 😊
I know shipping from the US to other countries is very expensive. I wish it wasn't that way. However, Hero Arts does have stores near the UK that carry. You can check them out using their store locator here heroarts.com/pages/store-locator I hope you're able to get your hands on it for a more reasonable amount!
Tracking down a local supplier or spending an enormous amount on shipping isn’t necessary because making your own acrylic spray is dead easy. Mix acrylic paint with a thinner viscosity acrylic medium like glazing medium. You can mix in water too, but keep it under 20% of the volume so as not to interfere with adhesion. You don’t need a specialty spray bottle even. You can pick one up from an art supply store, but even the bottles you can buy from drug stores work. (What do Brits call drug stores? Chemist’s? You know, Boots.) There are plenty of tutorials on how to do this on TH-cam.
It would be easier to turn a regular full sized character die into a “peeking” character than the reverse, right? It’s just a matter of creative slicing, I would think.

@@ematthews3267 apologies but I should’ve mentioned that bumbleberry paper crafts are based in the UK so you don’t have expensiveshipping costs
Thanks for all the tips on getting Hero Arts in the UK I will have another look. 😂
I use distress picket fence ink ❤🎉😊

Hi Kelly! ❤❤❤
I like both cards but the latter card, in my opinion has too much white splatter in the background
❤
Its bough (bow)…
