This is what I heard. When the guests came, Lots evil wife couldn’t stand it and left the house telling Lot that she needed to borrow some salt from the neighbors. She went to all the neighbors around telling them that Lot has guests. Of course the neighbors reported lot and they came to Lots door demanding the guests. Lots wife returned with the salt minutes before playing innocent. So middah kneged middah. HaShem turned her into salt because she betrayed Lot with salt.

Lot's daughter who was being tortured to death for secretly helping a traveler with providing supplies, she was married to a member of the High Council, because they murdered their own that was the final Draw. Lots wife was turned into to salt because at meal time one evening she didn't want to share salt with a traveler, so because of her stingy heart she turned into to salt when she looked back to her home and her people she had to leave behind. Measure For Measure.

Lot and his family didn't have the merit to see the destruction the wicked people, ergo they weren't allowed to look back. Seeing the downfall of evildoers is a reward, not a "guilty pleasure" like some liberals may think.

As a convert to Judaism I don't have any regrets, nor turning back. Christianity is idol worship. It's GREAT to worship Hashem. The more I am hated the more I know that I'm in the right track. And trust me, k'voda rav, when I say, I am hated by chilonim, christians and muslims.

You’re wrong about capitalism. Capitalism is not evil. It’s the kindest economic framework that exists. It’s freedom from the bottom up. Communism is evil dictators and slavery with control from the top down.
    Each economic system requires
    (1) a legal framework to enforce it, and
    (2) capitalism requires an ethical and moral spiritual religious society.
Communism is its own religion and cannot coexist with any other.
You have to look at the entire system, not just the economic aspect !

    • @RabbiAnavaAlon

Melakh pronounced very similar to Amalek. מֶלַח = salt. pay attention to Moses Exodus clues in the Torah and use a British WW1 survey map that shows the water wells/springs in the Sinai. the wells of Massah and Meribah (Exodus 17:7) are now called Ain Tisor el Maleh and Ain Sudr (Long 33°6'18"; Lat 29°49'17"). there are salt deposits all over the ground from where the spring originates. Bnai Israel stopped at this location because of the springs of water also it was Shabbat. this is the location of the battle of Rephidim against the Amelekites, which happened the next day. Bnai Israel then travelled from water well/spring to water well/spring until they reached Mt. Sinai. Follow the wells on the map and you will find the real Mt. Sinai. what people say is Mt. Sinai at St. Catherine's is 7370 feet tall. Moses, an 80 year old man, could not have hiked to the top in 1 morning.

I don't believe that Mrs Lot wanted to stay in Sodom at all, But perhaps they had to rush out with only a few clothes and possessions or maybe she had friends there, and she was sad to be leaving her life behind, or maybe she was curious about what was happening to the city, or perhaps all of these things, and she took one last look. Idk, but perhaps without thinking, she looked back, and POOF! she was salt. 😢
