Mahindra Thar Petrol Automatic Convertible Malayalam Review | Pilot On Wheels

Mahindra Thar is so popular among fans ever since the reveal last month. We have already tested the diesel manual variant on-road and off-road too. In this video, we are testing the petrol automatic version of Thar and this time in the convertible option. The Thar is powered by a new 2.0 L TGDI series of petrol engine producing 150 PS and 320 Nm, mated to 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor with four-wheel drive system as standard.

Mahindra മനപ്പൂർവ്വം ആണ് hard top variant ൽ top open ചെയ്യാൻ ഉള്ള ഓപ്ഷൻ കൊടുക്കാതെ ഇരുന്നത്. അങ്ങനെ ഒരു ഓപ്ഷൻ hard top ൽ ഉണ്ടാരുന്നേൽ പിന്നെ ഈ convertible എടുക്കാൻ ആള് കാണില്ലിരുന്നു. Jeep wrangler ന്റെ ഒരു വലിയ advantage ആണ് അത്. Hard top വളരെ easy ആയി remove ചെയ്യാം. അങ്ങനെ ഒരു feature താറിന്റെ hard top കൊണ്ടുവന്നാൽ തന്നെ ഇതിന്റെ price പിടിച്ചാൽ കിട്ടില്ല.

This is a good review. Would really like to know whats the actual wet and dry kerb weight of all the variants. Whats the turning radius. And the Fuel efficiency of the Petrol AT and Diesel AT. Very important for prospective buyers to know these things. Even though I have booked the Petrol AT Hardtop LX sight unseen.

Roshan first of all let me say that your style of change I like. Ok now thanks for the review especially on soft top petrol , concern on the sound when it reaches 80 kmpl . Price should not go more than 13.5 on road for Auto . If goes up more than 15 then it’s a question .

Like old Thar, you have to remove your ignition key and go out to open its fuel door.
2) No centre arm-rests
Two major deficiencies in new Thar but not mentioned by any one... are you all instructed to only shower praises without a word about its negatives ?

There is a reason for everything......in convertible model it will be so easy for the thieves to open the fuel lid....thats why key was necessary.
