Islamic Relief Indonesia (YRII) Celebrates Orphan's Day

The first day of Muharram is a special day for Muslims. In addition to celebrating the Hijri New Year on 10 Muharram 1445 Hijri or 28 July 2023, Islamic Relief Indonesia also celebrates 1 Muharram as the Orphan's Day.
This is stated in the Hadith narrated by Abu Dawud ra. Eid Yatama or Orphan's Day is used to honour orphans in the holy month of Muharram. We are grateful because we have so far sponsored 1,753 orphans in Aceh, Palu, NTB and Cianjur with noble benefactors from abroad.
Prophet Muhammad SAW loved orphans very much, especially on the day of Ashura (the 10th of Muharram)., as stated below,
"Whoever fasts the day of 'Ashoora' (the 10th of Muharram), Allah will give them a thousand angels' rewards and the reward of 10,000 martyrs' rewards, and whoever wipes the head of an orphan on the day of 'Ashoora', Allah will raise their dignity for every hair they wipe,"
So make orphans happy at all times, for there is no particular season, so we shall get Allah's Jannah for alleviating their needs iA.
