the tampura's are wonderful as they are (at least to me) and a key element to bring out the right mood to this raag. there are far more suitable ways of amplifying dhrupad (e.g via diffuse speakers) but that's just not the industry standard. still its just a matter of getting used to the drone, a live concert offers more space for this then a mere audio-recording (things bleed into each other foto-camera's birds talking are more distracting when there is less "listening room").

Wow, wonderful rendition of dawn raga lalit, i love this beautiful raga. I think the tanpura is not a big problem. I hear Uday Bhawalkar perfectly.
