In 2016 the Miracle Mile was moved back to the beginning of the year and was held on Sunday February 28.
The race was won by Have Faith In Me - a four-year-old that earned his invitation when winning the Chariots Of Fire two weeks prior.
He stopped the clock in 1:47.5 which was not only a race record and a track record but also the fastest mile rate set by a pacer outside of North America.
