- Hey everyone, today I'm reacting to and rating every five nights at freddy's jumpscare based on how scary they are! Fnaf has been part of my life for years, with freddy foxy bonnie and chica haunting me ever since I was 12. So comment down below who you think has the scariest jumpscare!

Springtraps jumpscare is different to the others, his jumpscare makes him look like a cold killer but the others look like they cant control themselves

The old ones are the scariest imo. They seem so real and the shadows on them arevso convincing, it feels like they are actually right next to you. Plus the claustrophobic office adds to the scariness and realisticness. The only other convincing jujpscares in the fnaf series were fnaf 3 and 4.
Everyone disses springrap, but imo i dont mind, its nice to have a slow grusome looking jumpscare since al, teh rest are pretty fastpaced and scary. The contrast makes teh game feel more realistic and the jumpscares on 4 are self explanitory. They literally pick you up, and move a lot.
Most of the jumpscares in FNAF 6 and UCN look like they're on a green screen, as described on the video (not complaining tho for completely free games that included enough effort in other parts)

Springtrap atleast knows that HE IS dangerous, blud killed around 12 kids, he knows what he is capable of, he doesn't need a raging shaking jumpscare

The fnaf 2 office setting was not great, but the jump scares were pretty good.
Fnaf 4 probably had the most realistic jump scares.
6:40 The reason why spring trap doesn’t really “jumpscare” you is because when he walks up to you his eyes widen because he notices your Micheal Afton, his son. For those who don’t know, William Afton, is spring trap so he is surprised to see his son there.
He can’t really widen his eyes considering the fact he has no eye sockets or eyebrows, it’s all wasted away and is literally just his eyes dangling on his flesh

I've always had a headcannon that when Nightmare and Nightmarionne jumpscare you, the reason it's a still png of them and it sounds like a rumbling from underwater is because their very presence was so terrifying that they laser burned their image into your eyes, forcing you to forever see them, and whatever screech they did was so intense is ruptured your eardrums.

I think what I find most interesting about sister location is that it has some sound variation between the jumpscares, instead of just the same copy paste sounds from the previous games

Its the animatronic who is addes to the jumpscare making it scary, but like imagine right now you get jumpscare by an image of a bread, it caught you by surprise but not that scary, I gave ‘em a 3/10. Its a rating the jumpscare, not the animatronic
I find it interesting how he rated glamrock Freddy's jumpscares low on account of him being your friend when thats the exact reason his jumpscares are so terrifying. You arent expecting it, especially if its when you run out of battery for the first time.

Let’s all be honest. The OG foxy is probably the least scary jumpscare. He basically just reminds you he’s there. Freddy when you lose power isn’t super scary either cause the music gives you a huge warning, but it’s still scarier than foxy. Springtrap just strolls up to you, there’s also many others that I’m just not going to list.

Honestly, The Puppet's jumpscare in FNaF3 is an utter joke. The ringing starts way before she shows up, and then she just kinda ... stares at you for 17 seconds. As somebody who isn't great at the game and brute forced his way through night 5, I was just inconvenienced and frustrated. At least with Springtrap there's a loud spooky noise and a game over, so at least there's apprehension.
I think all FNAF jump-scares could be legitimately made better with just a few impact frames. I think the all Future FNAF jumpscares should feel like getting punched by ignited Bonnie.

Okay, but also, they've gotten really repetitive by this point and a lot of them don't even look very good IMO.
Not gonna lie, I love FNaF 3’s Springtrap jumpscare. I know he doesn’t bite your face off or anything crazy, but that’s because he’s William in full control of the suit, not a mindless killer robot.
I see the jumpscare as now he’s gonna approach you and stab you to death gruesomely, and the game just doesn’t show the full of it.

I went to a party with a bunch of other kids in my grade when I was in 4th grade, and we got jumpscared by Ballora like 74 times, and every time we screamed as loud as humanly possible. It was so much fun, I would do anything to go back and time and relive that moment again and again.

I think a lot of UCN’s jumpscares aren’t really scary because this game is less about being a horror game, and more about just trying to beat the ultimate challenge.

I just wish they put some believability into the Pizzeria Sim jumpscares from the perspective with the computer-I always thought “there’s no way an entire big ass animatronic can fit between Michael and that computer screen”, and the head size coupled with that perspective makes it look like they suddenly shrunk down so they could fit entirely in view for the player. Takes you out of the experience.

We have a decomposing child killer in this moss-green bunny suit just casually strolling in to end the player's existence like it's just an ordinary Tuesday to him. Withered Bonnie's jumpscare is also terrifying to me. The idea of him coming toward you with that hand ready to choke you...nope. Don't like that. Don't like that at all.
And honestly...most of the others don't scare me too bad. It's literally just those two specifically that innately make me want to run for the hills. XD lol
Okay but those two (Springtrap and Withered Bonnie) are actually my 2 favorites. Springtrap has an ominous, horrifying but sad feeling to it, and I always read Withered Bonnie’s hand reaching out as him going to rip your face off to match his.

Here's a little story
I remember me and my friends playing games at school when one of them found a website (which I can't remember the name of) that had lots of games and some of those were the fnaf games. After he showed me the website I immediately got on it and started looking for the games, but then we had to leave that class to go to a different one. Once I finished my assignment, I got back on that website and found the games and started playing. I finished the first game with the help of my friend and decided to play the second one on my own. I was pretty good at it because I remember seeing a video of someone playing it, but I didn't remember lots of it but I kept going until night 2. The music box needed to be winded up and someone was in the vents, I didn't check the vents and winded up the music box instead. But the moment I saw Toy Bonnie in the vents, I got off cams, turned on the light and missed the button for the mask. I didn't realize I hadn't clicked the mask and thought I was safe but then I got jumpscared by him and my heart pounded for the rest of the day.
Toy Bonnie is terrifying he is the 5th most scariest animatronic in my opinion

I love how springtrap is just like "Hello! I am gonna kill you."
Biggest improvement was by making the teeth pointy and demonic. Im kinda a sucker for this teeth, thats also the reason why i prefere the new Pennywise over the old one. That gaping maw had me crazy. Many people sleep on horror teeth and dont give much thought but i love the primal fear the induce, just like our ancestors had when facing off with predators.
I have always interpreted W. Bonnie’s jumpscare as him reaching to tear you face off. It makes it a lot creepier to me because of that.
i think he canonically threatens to use someone/something elses face as his own.

Golden Freddy's Jumpscare from FNAF 1 is still *the* absolute scariest one in the entire series for me. Like it *peaked* as far as jumpscares go with that.
Not because it's frightening but because it's *so creepy* to me.
The FNAF 1 Jumpscare is the one that sounds the most like a child or woman crying.
Golden Freddy is just a still image missing eyes and the screams of the child is highly distorted.
Like it's just so effective.

I heard the reason springtraps jumpscare is so bad is because he wants you to help him out of the suit, even though once you get springlocked there's no getting out unless it's like a single limb.
I liked the considerations, but don't forget how creepy it is to see Phantom Freddy walking along the office when you have your camera up and the Marionette standing alone in the hallway on the cameras in FNAF 3. Those count as apart of it. Plus Trash and Gang has the psst over here.

The thing about Golden Freddy is that when you were first playing the game, you didn't know he existed. So you see this unknown jumpscare and get screamed at and your ears massacared.
I mean, Springtrap is literally a rotting corpse inside an animatronic. We can understand him, he’s trying his best
Springtrap or William Afton in FNAF 3 is not jumpscaring you the same way other animatronics do and that's simply,because he is not an animatronic. He's a serial killer and still kind of a human being..in this sense an angry and furious animatronic will jump at you and rip your head off,but a serial killer will slowly stalk upon you and kill you,maybe torture you. In my opinion Bon-Bon (the hand puppet of funtime freddy) is only really scary because of freddy's dialogue saying things like "BON-BON, GO GET 'EM!" or "GET READY FOR A SURPRISEEEEE!" Which is much more psychological horror, because Freddy is testing how much youre paying attention, but also its very sadistic and creepy.

Springtrap being such a scary and key character, they did his jumpscare in FNAF 3 so dirty. He could’ve been so much scarier and if you think about how encountering him would be scary in other ways (him probably smelling like a rotting corpse) they made his sounds, movements and jumpscare so not scary. I wanted a guttural kind of screaming due to the springlocks piercing his vocal cords, I wanted him to shamble like the undead guy he is, and due to William Afton being a child murderer I wanted him to be so much more aggressive and bitey than just… walking towards you. Even without all of this he still has a really cool and creepy character design and they are NOT taking full advantage of that.
Cheers for listening to my rant about how they botched about 3 seconds of a game.

I always thought Springtrap was scary because of the ominous feel to it, he looks so dead inside but so aggressive.

Feel like a lot of these are reduced because we are watching a video ment for instead of playing the game and getting caught off guard, great video.
I honestly just feel very uncomfortable seeing them, i get scared (more in a getting uncomfortable way) easily. Often everything around me seems eerie, and just I hate when they come so close.

In 6:50, u were talking abt the springtrap’s jumpscare, idk if u know but his jumpscare is that trash bc since he got the springlock failure, he couldnt move his jaw, and at fnaf 3, we play as Michael Afton (his oldest son) and he was shocked, thats why he was with his eyes wide open
