Old drummer from pillar.....the first (and best) pillar that is...lester is a monster! I met him a while back personally and recorded him as he played in melbourne..we even shared a few laughs...it rained that night and as the drums were taken apart he did the biggest drum solo on a 3 piece set...then he looked back at me and pointed sayin "that was for you maaaan!"
Well Lester Estelle is what you'd call an over-qualified drummer for Kelly. But I guess that's the best kind of musician. You don't want someone who would be struggling and he wont be doing that for sure!
@@themoaspecial I think her message is clear. Lester auditioned for Kelly Clarkson, he must be happy with his job, at least he seems happy. Also, I kinda disagree with the 'overqualified for Kelly' part. She's a talented artist, not only her, the whole band. I was honestly amazed, I thought she was just another popstar. The whole band is great.
@@alienduce-unocero I never said that being overqualified was a bad thing for either Lester or was I mocking Kelly so what’s up with you guys taking a stab at what I’m saying? What I said back then is meant to be a POSITIVE thing. Being overqualified at least in this case means to have at least 10x more of what’s required for the gig. Probably any old rock drummer (nothing against “rock drummers”) would have been able to do the job but they decided to bring someone in to bring things to a level that almost no one else could of. You guys understand?
KCfan02 he's doing all of the above….it only takes so a few months out of the year to record an album and do a tour so why not do more than one project. a KC show will take president over a Pillar show though if there are schedule conflicts b/c lets face it…..the money for a Pillar show doesn't compare!
