Beautiful. Question, I live in South Florida & obviously have tropical plants in my yard we are in the tropics. How do you keep all your tropicals alive through the winter? Absolutely beautiful garden you have there!!!!
My newer videos show some protection larger palms get. Almost all the other tropical plants in the ground survive with just a little mulch except for a tropical hibiscus and alocasia which gets dug up. .
Wow your garden is incredible love all the palms are they mostly waggies or fortuni you garden looks great so tropical thank you so much for sharing it how old is your garden?
Potted plants may come in. The rest (95%) stays outside in the ground except the upright elephant ear (Alocasia Odora) and I have a tropical Hibiscus I dig Up.
hi is that a mediterranean fan palm at 3:09? And what kind of winter protection do you give your palms in the ground? And listen to those Robins sing. Though it's possible you may have red breasted grosbeak in your range too.🐤🐤

Mule palm (butia x syagrus) that outgrew a pot so I had to plant it or throw it out. it was planted last spring and went thru winter low of 9F with protection. it will most likely perish but I may be able to enjoy it a couple more years, we'll see.

Started mainly in 2017. Expanding last 2 years as well.
What types of palm trees do you have in your garden? It truly is a beautiful garden
@@cboaustralia (Sabal) Minor, Brazoria, Birmingham, Louisiana, Palmetto (Trachycarpus) Fortunei, Wagnerianus, Rhapidophyllum hystrix, Butia x Syagrus, Blue Butia. In TN 7A
Looks great Allen! What are the little elephant ears that are used as a ground cover? I wouldn't mind having a little group of those myself!
Colocasia Fallax. Hard to find online. If you are ever around Mid TN you can come by and get some.
Really nice. How much of it do you keep outside in the winter?

That palm in the pot is a Trachycarpus Wagnerianus. If you look at my newest video you can see protection for the palms.
