- TheCGBros Presents "Plum" - By ESMA - When Plum hatches from his egg, the little dinosaur is not ready for the universe in which he was born. Carefree and mischievous, he roams around, watched by a dragonfly. However, his innocence is shattered when he makes a terrible discovery about his world…
Lorsque l’œuf de Plum éclot, il est loin de se douter de l’univers dans lequel il est né. Insouciant et malicieux, ce petit dinosaure fait ses premières expériences de vie sous l’œil d’une libellule. Toutefois, son innocence est détruite lorsqu’il fait une terrible découverte sur le monde qui l’entoure…

I thought this is gonna be heartbroken once i see the adult skeletons but im glad their offsprings is safe and sound. This is why i love independent animators.
Considering that the parent was nearby waiting for the egg to hatch, you should be glad the little one even knows what is safe to eat without being taught by anyone

Plum having a baby littlefoot moment in the beginning, and then it turned into ori and the will of the wisps with shriek. 😞💔💙

THIS WAS AMAZING! I may be stupid for saying this, but seeing recognition for how interesting and cool gigantoraptors are is rarely shown. Their species is one of a kind!

It's not! There's a lot of shorts like this on TH-cam. The best one I know of is Dead Sound's "Dinosauria." It's a miniseries of shorts. Check it out- lots of feathers in that one.

Oh that’s beautiful. Something about the way everything looks is just so magical! Even the contrast between the baby and the skeleton of the adult Gigantoraptor just makes it feel unearthly. Plus the baby is so adorable! As a paleo-nerd and artist I’m in love

What a cute little baby dinosaur
Becoming born in a world where your kind is non-existent is a depressing thought to think of. Inexpediently it could remind someone of the "Last Man on Earth" troupes found in _I Am Legend_ or the titular 1964 film; it leaves an empty void to wonder if hope is anywhere to be found. Luckily for this little guy, there was a happy ending.
It must be horrible to wake up and suddenly find out you’re the last of your kind, and that you’re all alone.😢
Thank goodness that it turned out he wasn’t, this was a really sweet animation!
It was very gentle, it left a very light and warm feeling after watching this!

This was gorgeous. And I love how adorably you portrayed the little dinosaur - not like a monster, but also not in the same style as other major studios have even when portraying them as neutral or good.
This animation was so beautiful and cute! I love how the environment is it reminds me of my childhood favorites like Scaler ps2 game and Spore! The character and it's noises are so cute and the design is super lovely! The story is very touching, Im actually crying a bit here but I'm so happy that he is not alone. Amazing work to the animators and artists for making this. ♥
P.s this film inspired me. ♥ If animators and artist from the film see this, please keep up the amazing work.

@Mr_Ghost_Dragapult Gigantoraptor has a shorter crest, I doubt it's meant to be a particular species but it is definetly at least an oviraptorid judging by the shape of the skull (in case someone doesn't know Gigantoraptor is a caenagnathid, it's often mistaken for an oviraptorid because caenagnathids are very closely related and similar to oviraptorids)
I think it is a velociraptor and brachiosaurus hybrid, brachiosaurus has its nostrils over its eyes, and velociraptors have feathers. Its my opinion. And the arms are bigger than a gigantoraptor's

This film made me cry from pure joy for the first time in a while. I've been struggling with depression for the past 5 years and it's very rare I get to feel so much joy and content to make me cry. It made me think of my inner child who used to watch short movies like that over and over again. Be kind to that child ya all. Thank you for this masterpiece.

It's a Cuteness Overload Cartoon that has Nothing to Do With Jesus Christ, Evolution, Real Living Creatures, Mythology, Science, Facts, Nature or much of Anything Else!!!
Phantom doesn't really Care What specific Species the protagonist Is. He's Just presuming😂 It's an Oviraptor philoceratops. But, It could be Any of several related Species. It's NOT a Bird, or one of the Specific Avialae Ancestral Species. Just, one of (possibly thousands) subspecies occupying The Maniraptorae which just happens to include Avialae!
Phantom's actually Surprised That an argument concerning the character's gender hasn't yet ensued!

That is so absolutely gorgeous! I loved it. The dead ones were kinda heartbreaking, but then you did not leave us hanging as I thought at the black screen. I can't be the only one who just burst into tears when the little one found those skeletons and it's cries got more and more desperate..
Its hard when your no longer the shell of what you were.. but cannot find anyone who looks like you… only a faint cry on the horizon.. but no one like your “kind” insight/insite. When you dont see anyone else “like” you.. because they dont know what you are or if you will hurt them.. youre simply “it” .. no one has no name for you.. or name you based on if you eat them or not.. grounded in a world of dragon f’lies…. all you can due is change how others see you by being something not scary but easy on the eyes. A unique being that others can see themselves in.. without words

Oviraptorids (what this baby seems to be) were very good parents, at least as far as we know. They took great care of their eggs and probably their offspring too. This poor baby was born into a world that it should not have been.
