Actually, happy feet is an all around player and is good at technique, definitely not the best compared to japanese DDR players and even other ITG players but still good. Also footwork in 16th stream counts as a part of technique so even mad matt has a decent technique. He's bad with crossovers though.

They hit more notes but ITG songs are designed so that you can keep your feet as close to the center of the metal square in the middle as possible and aggressively vibrate back and forth. DDR's newest pure stream 19, MAX 360, got AAA full comboed very shortly after release because of this. It didn't require the violent and draining movement that the demonic crossover 19's have, so it's probably the easiest DDR 19 despite having the highest notecount in DDR history. the matter with DDR is the timing wich is slighly harder than ITG, so it kinda mess up the final score, plus there are better players xD! even so i know ITG is harder than DDR
