Another cool thing about V-Mount batteries is they become more useful as your gear collection grows.

Hi there I just burned my fujifilm by plugin the wrong thing to the camera , can’t tell you what it is , couple be the batteries , the coupler or who knows, anyways I’m getting a new camera , and I wanna buy that reytric battery, and all I want to know is how to connect my ninja monitor and camera Fuji to the battery without frying anything ….. also can I plug the battery to the usbc for power instead of dummy battery? Would it be safe? I don’t seem to get the answers anywhere ; wondering if you could help !!

Sorry to hear about your Fujifilm, that sucks. As for the Reytric it has a USB-A and a DTap port. There is no USB-C To power your camera you would need a USB-A to dummy battery coupler and to power the monitor you would need a DTap to 12 volt cable. This is the setup that I've used for a long time with no issues. However, I recently bought a Smallrig V-Mount that has USB-C and 12 volt ports as well as USB-A so if your new camera can be powered by USB-C you would just need a straight USB-C cable for the camera and a 12 volt cable for the monitor. The Smallrig is a better battery but costs more $179 You can get it on Amazon here amzn.to/3ESkzs2 Hope this helps! Good Luck

@@IsomPhilips ok so I need to look into that , I really appreciate that you took the time to answer , I was thinking maybe I can get a usb a cable to usb c in the other end…. And I’ll look for the 12 v D-tap cable, I didn’t know D-tap cables can have diffrent voltage , so I guess I learned something by asking …. Thanks for the info again , very helpful !!

@@dannyveras Yep, You can use the Reytric with a USB-A to USB-C cable and the D-Tap to 12v works. The Reytric has worked well for me and it's only 99 bucks on Amazon

@@IsomPhilips can I plug a dummy battery from the camera directly to the dtap of the reytric without damaging my camera, the reason I’m asking is that I did that a couple days ago and it burned my camera Fuji , getting a new camera

Note, I'm testing cheap battery, and so far they are not 95Wh ! I can't say for the one you have though...
