ND fans can't even be happy anymore. I got to go to my 64 straight home game (minus covid) and with my 83yr old father and we watched ND beat a top15 teams. We are all smiles today :)
@@xsv4rce893 he has 3 free rushers, falling back fast, has a DE break off to knock it down. He has to throw over the defender and into the hands while retreating. Not an easy pass at all.
Exceptional play call and great recognition. It looked like Leonard was going to take off and run to the right; he made a perfect throw. And Love is so good in space (especially with 3 blockers in front of him). Aggressive downhill runner, but patient when need be. We need to get him in space more often. I liked incorporating him more in the passing game, but I also would like to see some outside zones to him.
I realize you guys get sick of some of the questions from the subscribers. But for me, Singers constant complaining about those questions is fatiguing to listen to, and a waste of my time every week. I used to love this show, but have recently had to switch to a couple others because they focus on the game and don’t waste time complaining about the silly questions. Hope this helps you improve your show by staying focused on Irish and not silly stuff.
Excellent. Maybe he’ll be dialed in before the end of season and then sit out the bowl game, as he preps for the NFL draft. If Angeli or Minchey (or both) transfer, would you blame them. Stoked that Riley is learning, while we increase the odds that we go into next season with 1-2 inexperienced QBs. Guess we’ll need to hit the portal again.
He’s hamstrung by the O-line issues and the fact that Leonard can’t effectively throw it down field consistently. I will say he’s been predictable but again there’s major reasons why.
Glad for the win, BT going down was tough to see. Tim, I agree with it potentially being a significant injury. He was shedding a tear on the sideline. Jr. T. stepped up. KVA is a stud. Good to see 99 make some plays. Hope Burnham can make it back after the bye. DB depth is huge. Ausberry is really stepping up. Signs of life on offense, got to call better plays against stacked boxes. Seems like they don't ever adjust. Surprised that Beaux had a tough game catching the ball. Faison's hustle play on punt rush was the kind of effort/hustle they need more of. Agree this is not a NC caliber team. Just do an eye test with Texas, OSU, Tennessee, Miami, Bama, GA and others. The 4th and 2 was an ugly play call.
Such a heads up play by Fasion and what a move he made on that WR screen that unfortunately got him hurt but he is just a baller. He gets the game. I still think he is our best playmaker/WR on the team.
So it was a great game and win. The main issue with Notre Dame is no matter who they play they always for the most part play down to the compitetion. There are several games this year that a team that is suppose to be as good as they say we are we should be beating teams more easily that we are. Its just stupid mistakes that keep us from elite and the fact we dont get the kids needed to throttle teams. We need for 5 stars to start throttling opponents. We may get to the playoff but its very similar to the Cowboys not the elite players that are needed to advance.
Shoot I think Moore played better than. mIckey ever has played. Moore is a stud. He similar to Christian gray. I think Moore and Gray are better than Morrison because of there toughness and physically, B-Mo is more of a finesse CB.
Denbrock hasn't changed one bad call after another since the last time he was here.. one atrocious call after another. Did like him then and don't now.
I’m glad we won 🙌 but I’m still gonna stay we need to play not to lose we need to open the offense up more and go after teams more but glad we won , what you guys think am I right or wrong ?
@Robxx74 "Aren't we being held back by no real mid or deep game? I feel like a better passing qb could open things up a bit more, even with our line and receivers...." Ive been saying this all year, Leonard is handcuffing they offense because he has limited passing ability. Denbrock won`t consistently call anything deep, because of those limitations. It is what it is, and they won`t bring in another qb with the way the o-line has been decimated by injury's.
This offense is beyond pathetic...... actually it's embarrassing! The play calling is horrible, downfield passing game....whats that???? 11 guys within 10 yards of LOS....lets run the ball!!!!!!!! At what point is the RL experiment at QB over? At what point does Freeman put in Angeli or give Carr a chance to see what he can do in the passing game? I thought Marcus Freeman hired Mike Denbrock as OC and not Brian Ferentz.
@@DaveIrish66 How about some offense? Louisville can throw amazing TD passes into the corner of the end zone. We can't hit a guy in the numbers 20 yards downfield sideline.

If we don't throw the ball downfield...teams will continue to stack the box. We're ND! We need a QB that can throw!

I swear Denbrock played clock control offense when ND was up 21-7 for 2 1/2 quarters
Defense covers a lot of mistakes by offense these days
The two forced turnovers on defense and the recovery on their bad punt snap won the game for us.
Denbrock has been a bigger disappointment than RL. Can’t expect to dominate in games with the DL and OL being pushed around.
