I did all the steps flawlessly, my Note10+ is unlocked and I even used it on my carrier before flashing and I did not get the Reboot options at the end. Why did it not work?

@@TechValor I just finished the entire install and got a "Pass". I rebooted phone but never got the At&t logo but did get the optimizing apps. I went into settings to check the software and it says, "Your current software version isn't supported. Visit a service center. Anyway to confirm if it was actually successful?

HI, I have unbranded unlocked Note 10 Plus 5g (SM-N976U). Will I be able to make this a ATT phone by flashing? I recently switched from a s10 plus 5g to a note 10 plus 5g. However, on my note I do not get 5g network anymore. I think it is because my s10 plus was from ATT so it connected to the 5g. As you mentioned in the beginning flashing can get you better connectivity.
This worked for me perfectly from a factory unlocked 10 plus to the AT&T firmware! Thank you so much your a lifesaver, a lack of volte was driving me nuts!
Update: It changed the firmware and even sent AT&T a message to try and have my Unlocked Note 10+ IMEI added to the approved byod list. After about 5 days, wifi calling, VoLTE, still are not working. Can you confirm your VOLTE is working? I checked the *#*#4636#*#* and it is showing VOLTE is provisioned and Wi-Fi calling is provisioned but can't get it to work for the life of me.
So I have a brand new t-mobile unlocked note 10 plus I bought from some one.. I am att so I put in my att Sim card restarted it and everything switched to att logos and everything.. Extremely detailed and accurate video. I successfully flashed my Samsung Note 10 plus from AT&T Android 9 to Tmobile/Android 10 because I was not getting updates/patches. After the flashing I immediately got the June 2020 security patch. Thanks!
There is no reason to use another carriers files to activate phones on those carriers. If you use the SamFirm software (currently 0.5.0 as of me typing this), you can download pretty much any firmware you want/need. If you have, say, a T-Mobile phone and want to flash it to Verizon, you must first flash unlocked U1 firmware, activate service using the simcard (or at least attempt it), the phone should realize the carrier is changing and ask for a system restart. Restart the phone then shut it down to finish flashing... Now flash the target carriers U firmware. Instructions on specifics on how to do can be found on XDA-Developers.

Are can still install it with the firmware for the carrier you want to use but the UI won't change until you add the sim card. If it doesn't work then you will need to install the firmware again.

Unfortunately you cannot install the SM-N976T firmware on to a SM-N976V model phone. As far as the problem with the moisture detected, reach out to Samsung to see if your phone is under warranty so they can fix that issue for you.
Hey Angel, are you still able to use all the features you get with ATT like wifi calling and video calling? I'm reading on Reddit that people who tried this had these services work for a while and then it stopped working, they said ATT said that even though they have ATT firmware that the device itself wasn't bought from att and therefore they can't let them continue using them, I managed somehow to convince ATT customer service to enable Volte and it works but this feature does not really require a firmware, let me know if you are still able to use those features, also, did att update their note 10+ to one ui 2.5?

Sorry for the bad news but you can't change a U model into an F model. You can only go back and forth from U to U1. The best thing you can do is sell your phone and buy an international model. Best of luck. 🙏🏼

I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ factory unlocked 512 internal memory dual Sim The problem is it only gets 2g 3g and 4g and video calling does not work No LTE or 5g. I am on Rogers wireless I understand that the dual sim versions are only made in Asia. Is the problem that the firmware is specific to region and can I fix this? If I flash this to an American version, will I lose the dual sim feature? As I no longer have my Samsung Galaxy Note 9, can I do a complete backup to my PC?

Hi, I have a Note 10+ 5G issued by T-Mobile. It's been unlocked and is now set up with AT&T carrier. The issue has been that the IMEI number is not recognized by AT&T and therefore its not getting any 4G LTE connection. So no data when wifi is off. Hi everyone! I do have a unlocked N975U1 unit from USA which initially has come to me on Android 10 One UI 2.1 and recently got a June 1st security patch as well. However, I don't know whether am i the only one who observed this or ever since Note 10 plus started running on 10 One UI 2.0 or 2.1 the display colors are not accurate or vibrant regardless what settings you do and when you use the camera it has some focus issues and yellow tint issues which I don't see on the Note 10 Plus's which are still on Android 9 One UI 1.5.? Hello I really need help, I had purchased an unlocked note 10 + from samsung.com I gifted the phone to my brother and he has metropcs. My phone was unlocked but I used Verizon as a carrier (n975u) my brother keeps trying even after taking it to metropcs store the phone will connect to metro service for maybe 5 minutes then go away then it says contact verizon when I call Verizon they tell me they can't do anything that my phone is fully unlocked and that they can do anything since the phone isn't theirs. It looks like your phone is not unlocked. I had an AT&T Note9. I went to AT&T website and entered in my info to get it unlocked. Once that process was completed, I entered in my Verizon SIM and restarted my phone. It configured and automatically turned into a Verizon phone with all of the carrier features. You need to call or go to the Sprint website and unlock your phone: www.sprint.com/en/legal/unlocking-your-sprint-device.html. Then enter in your Verizon sim, restart and then you will have a Verizon branded phone. No need to install firmware.

The Snapdragon samsung Galaxy phones can be rooted but you cannot add ROMs because the bootloader is locked. The Exynos phones can be rooted and have ROMs.

Unbelievable! Can't believe I found this. I have been calling AT&t tech support and Samsung tech support and they act like they have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm going to give this a try and see if this works for me. I was about to move the phone over to T-Mobile because I'm so mad at AT&t.
This method works with the note 20 too if you have the note 20 files. I changed my mind to re flash it back to U though just incase if I ever return my phone to att in the future.

I want tmobile carrier apps, since I can get rcs integrated with Samsung messages and I can skip google messages. My model is SM-N976v, I believe I can use SM-N976u to get what I want. Hello William. Unfortunately, the way Samsung has the Note 10 Plus 5G model's is different. The SM-N976V model's can only take SM-N976V firmwares. The only way to get the T-Mobile firmware is to sell your V model and purchase a SM-N976U model. 😿

Incluso antes de cambiar el Firmware yo ya lo utilizaba perfectamente. Decidí cambiar el Firmware para tener el teléfono completamente limpio, es decir, sin aplicaciones de AT&T ni el logo cuando el teléfono enciende y apaga y que además con el cambio de Firmware quedó actualizado a Android 10. Tú caso es distinto, sería bueno que le dejaras un comentario a la creadora de este vídeo, así te da su opinión y ayuda, al igual como me ayudó a mi Bro. Mucha Suerte.!!

Update: It changed the firmware and even sent AT&T a message to try and have my Unlocked Note 10+ IMEI added to the approved byod list. After about 5 days, wifi calling, VoLTE, still are not working. Can you confirm your VOLTE is working? I checked the *#*#4636#*#* and it is showing VOLTE is provisioned and Wi-Fi calling is provisioned but can't get it to work for the life of me.

Extremely detailed and accurate video. I successfully flashed my Samsung Note 10 plus from AT&T Android 9 to Tmobile/Android 10 because I was not getting updates/patches. After the flashing I immediately got the June 2020 security patch. Thanks!
There is no reason to use another carriers files to activate phones on those carriers. If you use the SamFirm software (currently 0.5.0 as of me typing this), you can download pretty much any firmware you want/need.
If you have, say, a T-Mobile phone and want to flash it to Verizon, you must first flash unlocked U1 firmware, activate service using the simcard (or at least attempt it), the phone should realize the carrier is changing and ask for a system restart. Restart the phone then shut it down to finish flashing... Now flash the target carriers U firmware. Instructions on specifics on how to do can be found on XDA-Developers.

Yes, you will get carrier updates. You will get the updates before the unlocked version because the unlocked version gets them last.

Are can still install it with the firmware for the carrier you want to use but the UI won't change until you add the sim card. If it doesn't work then you will need to install the firmware again.

Unfortunately you cannot install the SM-N976T firmware on to a SM-N976V model phone. As far as the problem with the moisture detected, reach out to Samsung to see if your phone is under warranty so they can fix that issue for you.

I'm reading on Reddit that people who tried this had these services work for a while and then it stopped working, they said ATT said that even though they have ATT firmware that the device itself wasn't bought from att and therefore they can't let them continue using them, I managed somehow to convince ATT customer service to enable Volte and it works but this feature does not really require a firmware, let me know if you are still able to use those features, also, did att update their note 10+ to one ui 2.5?

However when I start the process in Odin I always get a "Authorization Failed" message. Does this process only work with the factory unlocked samsung devices?

Sorry for the bad news but you can't change a U model into an F model. You can only go back and forth from U to U1. The best thing you can do is sell your phone and buy an international model. Best of luck. 🙏🏼

I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ factory unlocked 512 internal memory dual Sim The problem is it only gets 2g 3g and 4g and video calling does not work No LTE or 5g. I am on Rogers wireless I understand that the dual sim versions are only made in Asia. Is the problem that the firmware is specific to region and can I fix this? If I flash this to an American version, will I lose the dual sim feature? As I no longer have my Samsung Galaxy Note 9, can I do a complete backup to my PC?

Hi, I have a Note 10+ 5G issued by T-Mobile. It's been unlocked and is now set up with AT&T carrier. The issue has been that the IMEI number is not recognized by AT&T and therefore its not getting any 4G LTE connection. So no data when wifi is off. I also don't see WiFi Calling as an option anywhere in the Android settings or the phone ap settings. Will these instructions help to get this phone to work with AT&T?

You would not need to re-flash your phone, Just put in your AT&T sim card, restart the phone and it will configure itself.

Hi everyone! I do have a unlocked N975U1 unit from USA which initially has come to me on Android 10 One UI 2.1 and recently got a June 1st security patch as well. However, I don't know whether am i the only one who observed this or ever since Note 10 plus started running on 10 One UI 2.0 or 2.1 the display colors are not accurate or vibrant regardless what settings you do and when you use the camera it has some focus issues and yellow tint issues which I don't see on the Note 10 Plus's which are still on Android 9 One UI 1.5.? Hello I really need help, I had purchased an unlocked note 10 + from samsung.com I gifted the phone to my brother and he has metropcs. My phone was unlocked but I used Verizon as a carrier (n975u) my brother keeps trying even after taking it to metropcs store the phone will connect to metro service for maybe 5 minutes then go away then it says contact verizon when I call Verizon they tell me they can't do anything that my phone is fully unlocked and that they can do anything since the phone isn't theirs. I have a Sprint Galaxy Note 10 PLus Sm-N975U, I switched to Verizon recently and it only works when Roaming. I was trying to see if i can flash the Verizon Firmware and have all the features work?
It looks like your phone is not unlocked. I had an AT&T Note9. I went to AT&T website and entered in my info to get it unlocked. Once that process was completed, I entered in my Verizon SIM and restarted my phone. It configured and automatically turned into a Verizon phone with all of the carrier features.
You need to call or go to the Sprint website and unlock your phone: www.sprint.com/en/legal/unlocking-your-sprint-device.html. Then enter in your Verizon sim, restart and then you will have a Verizon branded phone. No need to install firmware.

1) It took 24hrs for the WiFi calling to work properly to work on my husband's phone.

3) When you switch to T-Mobile, put in your new SIM and see if it updates. If not then you will need to redo the process..

The Snapdragon samsung Galaxy phones can be rooted but you cannot add ROMs because the bootloader is locked. The Exynos phones can be rooted and have ROMs.

Yes, you can add the Verizon firmware on your phone, just make sure you have the Verizon Sim Card in your phone when you flash the firmware.

I have the N975F variant unlock by code/imei, I'm using it on TMO, can I flash the TMO firmware on it?

you can only install the tmobile one that is associated with your country
This method works with the note 20 too if you have the note 20 files. I changed my mind to re flash it back to U though just incase if I ever return my phone to att in the future.
Will this also work in restoring wifi calling for att?
I have a question. I have the note 10+ unlocked. I have had it a few weeks now and its already set up with all my stuff and info. Do I have to reset to factory before I start this whole process??
Nope, just make sure to back up everything and then you can start by turning on developer options to enable usb debugging mode. Which carrier are you trying to add to your unlocked version?

Hi Cat Woman, here in the US I just bought a verizon note 10 plus 5g. My carrier is Tmobile.
After inserting my tmobile sim card carrier adaptation(byod) did not occur.
I want tmobile carrier apps, since I can get rcs integrated with Samsung messages and I can skip google messages.
My model is SM-N976v, I believe I can use SM-N976u to get what I want.
Would your steps be the same for the note10 5g?

Hello William. Unfortunately, the way Samsung has the Note 10 Plus 5G model's is different. The SM-N976V model's can only take SM-N976V firmwares. The only way to get the T-Mobile firmware is to sell your V model and purchase a SM-N976U model. 😿

I have the AT&T Note 10 plus and am using it on AT&T. I would like to flash the star wars edition firmware but was wondering if someone could tell me everything that will no longer work before deciding if it is worth it.
You will lose VOLTE, wifi calling, text message read receipt, video calling, and native visual voicemail.

@@SonikRD Hola que tal bro, una duda, quizás son casos diferentes, ¿A ti te aparecía el celular en black list? Yo compré mi note 10 +, que venía de estados unidos y me vino con at&a& y aparecía en black list ¿Por eso le limpiaste el IMEI?
@@dealerzone8185 Que tal. No Bro, en mi caso mi teléfono no tenía ningún problema con el IMEI ni estaba en Black List ni nada por el estilo. Incluso antes de cambiar el Firmware yo ya lo utilizaba perfectamente. Decidí cambiar el Firmware para tener el teléfono completamente limpio, es decir, sin aplicaciones de AT&T ni el logo cuando el teléfono enciende y apaga y que además con el cambio de Firmware quedó actualizado a Android 10. Tú caso es distinto, sería bueno que le dejaras un comentario a la creadora de este vídeo, así te da su opinión y ayuda, al igual como me ayudó a mi Bro. Mucha Suerte.!!
