Here's a story of me falling in love with Indian culture:
I was just playing Civilization VI when I first heard an interpretation of this song as the theme of India. I felt curious and started reading about Mahatma Gandhi and his life. Needless to say, I was impressed by his philosophy of non-violent protests. All through sheer determination, patience and will of Indian people.
Then I found out about Chanakya and his work "Arthashastra". Then Maurya dynasty, culture, religion... Now I so want to visit India and her great cities to learn about it more. Love from Russia.

Sad to say but they don't exist now . But we the Bharata is eternal.
Just to let you know, Indians did not get their independence from non violent protests. A lot of people have had to sacrifice their lives for it. While Gandhi became a hero.

Bangladesh just had to be Rezwana Chowdhry Bonna. The pronounciation was more correct and classical than most Indians. But it would be - she studied at Shantiniketan and is probably the finest exponent Rabindra Sangeet in the world.
