This is a very informative movie, even though it brought back some very painful memories for me. This is something that needs to be discussed. The cast did an amazing job.
As a rape survivor I learn at a young age the power of forgiveness. They don’t deserve my pain or tears. Even the memories don’t bring back pain. When I tell my stories people ask why am I not messed up like other rape survivors. Am like because I forgave them, forgiveness is the most powerful tools against the perpetrators.
This is a very insensitive things to say, so are you saying that other rape survivors are messed up because they did not forgive their assaulter, that is a very messed up and evil thing to say, forgiveness is not for everyone, and not everything can be forgiven, I'm very much okay and sane, and I have not forgiven and never will forgive my assaulter, and it does not make mess up, I'm living a happy life knowing that my assaulter is not anywhere close to my life, each rape assaulter goes with each their journey different, some people have a happy life not forgiving their assaulter, I am, I have chosen to forget and just live my life. We are not messed up, especially because is not fair for rape survivors, not everyone has the same journey, we are different and we go through life differently but it does not make us messed up if we choose not forgive. I choose to forget, and I'm okay with, but never forgive.

Does this mean that Jason and Veronica are related seeing that her father and Jason have the same or similar tattoo? Why did she faint when she saw the tattoo? It would seem not because they got engaged. This movie is deep and deals with some serious issues. This mother needs therapy as well, she needs closure.
