Are you used to drawing straight or flat brows? Not all brows are straight. You should be able to follow the natural shape of your clients brow by sticking close to the hair when drawing

Actually it's giving her natural brows more definition, not covering them up at all.

Because her natural brows are sparse. If you do nothing to the sparse brows they will appear non existent.
