Look, Camoflaj is the same studio behind the Iron Man VR game. This is a good studio with a good reputation. It isn’t a given that it’ll be bad just because it’s VR, just as long as WB management stays the fuck away from the game and doesn’t screw it over like they did with SS

This very much looks to be set between Arkham origins and Arkham asylum, considering there’s like 11 years or so of time to deal with there.
Looking at the suit in the promotional art as well, it looks very origins esk with the cowl.
Arkham asylum also had rat catcher easter eggs and I’m not sure if the other games did

We now have an Assassin's Creed VR and Half Life Alyx.
also in my experience, VR devs are more passionate in making games than mainstream AAA game devs.
the dev of Asgard's Wrath 2 (which is also another awesome VR game, it has inspiration from Zelda, Witcher and Skyrim) talked about their game a lot before releasing it and you can by the way they talk that they really love what they're doing.
Camoflaj also made Iron Man VR and it's really good, probably one of the best on Quest 2.

Camouflage aren't they the same crew that made Republique? One of the most overlooked gems during last generation? I'm pretty sure they are, I can imagine they'll make another banger like with Republique and Iron Man VR with Batman this time.

Okay so ive played on an oculus, it was pretty cool. I love the 3 main arkham games. But... why am I worried of how good a vr batman game can really be. However, a scarecrow sequence experienced through the eyes of batman in vr would be amazingly terrifying.

I agree, a game for him could work, Horizon Zero Dawn exists and that has a protagonist that is a heavy bow user, so it's not like you couldn't make a game starring Green Arrow, plus I do think it's about time to see other DC Comics characters get video game adaptations that can go as hard as Insomniac's Spider-Man or Rocksteady's Arkham Batman.
I've been wanting a Arkham inspired take on Superman for a while, specifically based on the Bruce Timm DCAU series due to that Superman being perfect for a loose video game adaptation due to him being nerfed and yet being a likable version of the character.

There was so much opportunity to continue the Arkham story ark after Arkham knight. So many questions unanswered and so many possibilities but instead the developers decided to go with a route least entertaining through suicide squad and now only releasing an vr exclusive? Where are the story tellers in the game companies
Gotham knights was a banger in my opinion especially since they tried to do their own thing and it had so much potential, the fans just killed the game BEFORE it even f*cking released and had a chance. Then they got suicide squad which was massive failure so to me the fan base had that one coming, and Gotham knights even gave us one of the BEST batman death/fight scenes ever, i still go back to enjoy the cut scenes and mission setups. So much potential...like it could have had a breanched out teen titans connected game if it worked out

The way I see it, this is WB realizing they screwed up with suicide squad. They already admitted it underperformed, so this is the first step back to the series’ roots. If the VR game does well enough then they will see that there is still a market for Batman and invest in a AAA game

Camoflaj made Iron Man VR which released in 2020 for the PSVR & got a MQ2 version in 2022. They're pretty good with VR games though I'm not interested in obtaining an overpriced headset

I'm a huge fan of the arkham serie, but they really missed the mark with Gotham knights and suicide squad ....
I lost a huge amount of interest because of these games and it pains me to say it, but rocksteady is dead to me if they don't strike back with something epic like the other Batman games.

Gotham Knights wasn’t a Batman game and that was one of the biggest issues for people…which is annoying cuz the bat family deserves more of a push in media and Gotham Knights was absolutely amazing. I hope they give us more content in Gotham Knights.
Gotham Knights was one of my most anticipated games the year it came out I always wanted a game where you can play as the bat family and switch between the three similar to GTA V but it was a huge let down Arkham Knight is game that came out 7 years prior and blows Gotham Knights out of the water in every single category like Gameplay, Story, Graphics, Detail, Easter Eggs, DLC, etc.

I’m not hating on Arkham though. I absolutely love it. I play it all the time. I just get kinda board cus the combat is so easy. That’s not a bad thing I just prefer more of a challenge personally.
I’m only 1000 hrs in Gotham Knights now. And I’ve finally truly mastered the combat. Yet I’m still learning more things I can do.
But I respect your opinion. ☺️

@@masterlywolfyt1394 it vastly changes each night depending on what clues you focus on collecting. And the more nights you do the more new crimes get generated. I Just played last night and experienced 3 new crimes I’d never seen before.
@@jbstudios3000 Only a 1000 hours!? That’s a bit of a understatement I want to like that game, and also didn’t like what they did with Red Hood I just wished Rock Steady developed it honestly but I will say Gotham Knights is a far better game than Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League.
