- I promised I would post an uncensored version at some point. I guess this is the time to do it, as I'm thinking of all the brave people affected by war in Ukraine.
"Soldiers" is a project which has been in the works for overs 7 years and it's a huge 7 minutes long combination of Linkin Park & Eminem. All remixed by me. You can now enjoy this official video for an explicit version.
Songs remixed:
"A Line In The Sand"
"Darker Than Blood"
"Soldier"
"Cry To Yourself"
"With You"
"Hands Held High"
"Mockingbird"
"The Way I Am"
Speech:
"The Great Dictator" - Charlie Chaplin

It's strange to hear Chesters voice 5 years after in a new song when he's been gone... Still hurts to know how he went... RIP Chester
That truth will come out. About Chester and Chris! Noble guys who were wronged!!!!
Chester, I hear your voice. Im crying. Remember your. From Russia with Love. Thnks
Sadly this isn't new music this guy has just stolen a bunch of songs from Linkin park and soldier from Eminem's cleaning out my closet hashed them together and uploaded them to a video.
@@deythal he didn't steal anything, it's a remix he did himself you idiot
Still so fresh and painful to me as well, even after 5 years. 7/20/17. RIP Chester.
😭I miss Chester. His voice helped me through some of the most horrible points in my life.
Legends never die.
Hey j r you are right about legends never die chester was always a part of our lives ♥️

Unexpected yet deserved collab.
May you be remembered, Chester Bennington.
Hurts on several levels. To all who were used as fodder in wars and to those who battle in life. Chester, you were such a kind heart.
They were American fighters!!! NEVER fodders!! And you will respect them as so!! 💯🇺🇲🇺🇲 real men
@@wendythomas4896 for what???? I KNOW GOD DAMN WELL that I DIDN'T GIVE BIRTH TO MY SON and DAUGHTER so the FUCKING government can sweet talk my children into a war that will kill them! I LOVE THEM 🤩 RESPECT is SUPPORTING YOUR CHILDREN and TELLING THOSE IN POWER TO GO FUCK THEMSELVES when they want to put your child to death! THAT'S RESPECT to your baby you gave birth to!!!
MOST people didn't even want to go to WAR!!!
Catch up on your HISTORY before you talk shit to other's about veterans and war! They don't even get the love, support, health care,or FREEDOM that they fought for or died for and do you see anyone caring about them when they're happy in their perfect little lives? HELL Naw!
@@TrinaSky-kg5gy I do not know you or your circumstances but you seem to have misinterpreted my comment. Unfortunately I di bit gave the ability to change history but respect those, including musicians, who draw attention to wars and the plight of those who serve unjust wars.
"When the rich wage war, its the poor that die" Linkin Park.
It's actually a quote from Jean-Paul Sartre.
Oops, my bad. You learn something new every day.
I was deployed to Iraq when Minutes to Midnight was released.
True statement.
Shinoda can take this lyric to heart - his 'non-action' directly contributed to Chester's suicide - and more people should be talking about it
I'm a 100% disabled veteran with more issues than I care to list. This video tore me up. I don't resent my service or my nation. I did what I thought was right for the right reasons at the time and would do it again if I could. But thank you for making this video because there are very few things that put such strong emotions through me anymore.
❤
I have nothing but respect for you and all the other people who fought for our freedom. Thank you for your service and sacrifices.
Thank you for your service . God bless you & a healthy 2023

I'm a young broken vet about to be medically discharge due to PTSD and injuries. This song really gets to me in so many levels. I love it and I wish it was on spotify
Power to you man!
You may be young and broken, but those pieces are still loveable!! Remember that, please! Thank you for your service!!❤
This Navy Mom will hold you in my heart, and send you as much strength as possible! You are most definitely loved ❤
I'm an old broken seven deployment vet. It gets better. PTSD, pain, headaches, tinnitus, they eventually go away
Its "A Line in The Sand" by Linkin Park
Rest in piece everyone who fought their internal battles and lost. And those who are depressed and don’t see another way out. Just please hold on. Even when you feel like you cannot move anymore and nothing good will ever happen to you. It will. It definitely will. Please stay strong. You’re never alone. I believe in you❤
Strong words
I wish my brother could of read your comment, he committed suicide 10:06/23
Thank you ❤
I decided to reupload this one as apparently my original message wasn't very clear to everyone. And the message is that war is never an answer. Both Ukrainians and Russians are victims of conflict that's going on right next to my country and my thoughts are with everyone affected.
Stay safe everyone.
True. But the Russian soldiers attacking innocent civilians is very wrong. Not all are victims
@@marka8738 But have you seen the actual citizens in Moscow? The Russian citizens SO DISAGREE WITH PUTIN. They have demonstrated against him!
@@gtillman96 yes i have but they will only get in trouble and it will not change what Putin is doing

Same here. I'm a vet that did 3 tours with the Rangers, severe PTSD as well. And I'm getting choked up and chills watching this!
Love to you.
im with you sir........God bless you💜🙏
As a veteran this hits me on many levels. But one thing I can keep my head up about is that no matter what the circumstances, we still need to try to protect the innocent. That's what I tried to do and that's what I will continue to do until I draw my last breath! I did what I thought was right, now we have to keep fighting to keep our country alive. Just cause you can't fight physically anymore it doesn't mean you can't fight!! Keep your heads up soldiers we can't let our country fall or it will all be for not!!
At the same time, you are human, and war surely has taken its toll. From one human who has never known battle, nor the depths of depressions and physical and emotional scars, I am forever in debt to you for your sacrifice. Thank you for serving, and God Bless.
LYRICS:
[Chester Bennington]
Don't you hold your breath 'cause I'm not coming down
The battlefields have left me only scars
And floating in the dark, I'm swimming in the sound
Of voices that should never been apart
[Charlie Chaplin]
To those who can hear me, I say - do not despair
The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress
The hate of men will pass, and dictators die,
and the power they took from the people will return to the people
And so long as men die, liberty will never perish
Soldiers! Don't give yourselves to brutes
Men who despise you - enslave you
Who regiment your lives - tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel!
Who drill you - diet you - treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder
Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts!
You are not machines!
You are not cattle!
You are men!
[Mike Shinoda]
I'd never been a coward, I'd never seen blood
You'd sold me an ocean, and I was lost in the flood
We were counting on a leader, we were driven by need
But couldn't take temptation, and we were blinded by greed
You were steady as a sniper, we were waiting on a wire
So we never saw it coming when you ran from the fire
You can try intimidation and you can try to ignore
But when the time comes calling, yeah, you are gonna get yours
[Eminem]
Ayo, turn the beat up a little bit. Ayo!
Shut up and listen
(I'm a soldier)
These shoulders hold up so much
They won't budge, I'll never fall or fold up

Even if my collarbones crush or crumble
I will never slip or stumble
(I'm a soldier)
These shoulders hold up so much
They won't budge, I'll never fall or fold up
(I'm a soldier)
Even if my collarbones crush or crumble
I will never stumble
I spit it slow so these kids know that I'm talkin' to 'em
Give it back to these damn critics and sock it to 'em
I'm like a thug with a little bit of Pac influence
I spew it, and look how I got you bitches rockin' to it
You motherfuckers could never do it like I could do it
Don't even try it, you'll look stupid, do not pursue it
Don't ever in your life try to knock the truest
I spit the illest shit ever been dropped in two-inch
So ticky-tock, listen as the sound ticks on the clock
Listen to the sound of Kim as she licks on a cock
Listen to the sound of me spillin' my heart through this pen
Motherfuckers know that I'll never be Marshall again
Full of controversy until I retire my jersey
'Til the fire inside dies and expires at thirty
And Lord, have mercy on any more of these rappers that verse me
And put a curse on authorities, in the face of adversity, I'm a-

You now I see
Keeping everything inside

You now I see
Even when I close my eyes
(I'm a soldier)
You now I see
Keeping everything inside
(I'm a soldier)
You now I see
Even when I close my eyes

Another day, your truth will come
You're gonna pay for what you've
Pay for what you've done
You'll get what's yours and face your crime
You'll tell them, "Give me back what's mine"
"Give me back what's mine!"
("What's mine!"
"Give me, give me back what's mine!"
"What's mine!"
"What's mine!"
"Give me back what's mine!")
[Mike Shinoda]
Today, we stood on the wall
We laughed at the sun, we laughed at the guns
We laughed at it all
And when they, they told us to go
We paid them no mind like every other time
But little did we know
[Eminem]
Yeah, straighten up little soldier! You got me?
[Mike Shinoda]
Turn my mic up louder, I got to say something
Lightweights steppin' aside when we come in
Feel it in your chest, the syllables get pumping
People on the street then panic and start running
Words on loose leaf sheet, complete coming
I jump in my mind, I summon the rhyme I'm dumping
Healing the blind, I promise to let the sun in
Sick of the dark ways we march to the drumming
Jump when they tell us that they wanna see jumping
Fuck that, I wanna see some fists pumping
Risk something, take back what's yours
Say something that you know they might attack you for
'Cause I'm sick of being treated like I had before
Like it's stupid standing for what I'm standing for
Like this war's really just a different brand of war
Like it doesn't cater to rich and abandon poor
Like they understand you, in the back of their jet
When you can't put gas in your tank
These fuckers are laughing their way to the bank, and cashing their check
Asking you to have compassion and have some respect
For a leader so nervous in an obvious way
Stuttering and mumbling for nightly news to replay
And the rest of the world watching at the end of the day
In the living room, laughing like, "What did he say?"
[Eminem]

The second I heard Charlie Chaplin's speech I teared up. That is by far one of my most favorite speeches I've ever heard and to think it was Charlie Chaplin's first and LAST speaking role is insane to me.
If anyone is curious, it comes from the movie 'The Great Dictator' where he plays a man who gets mistaken for hitler and he gives a beautiful speech.
"The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress" th-cam.com/video/J7GY1Xg6X20/w-d-xo.html
The horrific irony was that Charlie was cast out of America by the fucking moron (long before Donald Trump, a simulacrum of) Joseph R. McCarthy for being too concerned about caring for other humans
It makes me sad that they never collaborated while Chester was alive. That would've been something truly special.

If old songs or not, this is a wonderful up to date video. The phrases are very in time and so true.
The truth is coming out of the darkness. Just look closer!

The darkness will die, because the light is growing!

What's happening in Ukraine is absolutely heart breaking war is so ugly and terrifying when will humanity learn.
💔
When the resposible one ends his life. That's when.
Humanity will never learn. Cause we always find new and inventive ways to destroy ourselves. It will never stop because we deep, deep down hate our own kind. We are, as a species, so obsessed with country and kin that we forget that all humans are kin. And thus, we have to destroy. Ever since the first tools were invented, we learned we could use those as weapons. And since then, the wheel of invention was spun.
Think of these words what you wish to think. I gave up on humanity, anyway.
I hate to admit it, but so many humans are just plain evil. I feel your emotions.
Mankind must put an end to war, or war will put an end to mankind. -John F. Kennedy

Very good! Made me think about some people i havent seen in about 2 decades… i look forward to seeing them again one day…
I needed this!!
I recall this as a Charlie Chaplin song a while back, great to hear it in modern music, still as relevant today as all those years ago 💎
It’s used in “ironsky” by paulo nutini it’s from Charlie Chaplin film
красивый клип....очень удачно вышедший...никакой пропаганды-просто музыка)
I was really expecting a song between these two parties, but this is amazing! We've been imagining an Eminem x Linkin Park mashup for decades, yet it never happen. That, like this mashup song, will be an untamable fire, sparked by a storm we would never be able to pass.
That was brilliant. I'm sure many can relate to the video. ❤❤❤
