The problem is not Tai; the problem is a society that rewards folks like Tai. Tai is a scammer who finds a hole in the matrix, either by luck or skill, but it does not matter. Here is a quick exercise: compare, say, the CEO of Amazon with Tai. Who has provided more value to the world?
Really fascinating video, I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. I played with the stock market sometime in 2020, and I was surprised at how well it turned out. I want to put in $90k more into the market. I heard people are making really great returns despite the downturn. Any recommendations?
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over $250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
Many people lack this kind of information, which is unfortunate. I understand why some people panic. It can be hard without enough information. I have been earning over $31k passively by investing through an advisor, and it doesn’t take much work. The economy’s performance doesn’t matter; good wealth managers always make profits.
Gertrude Margaret Quinto, is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

Actually idk your academic background but mine is intense in 4 different fields , and tai shouldn’t have to provide evidence for stuff that is common knowledge among the well read 🤷🏻♀️
Tai has a lot of certainty, yet rarely backs up his assertions. A 2008 study of 3000 twins showed that only about a third of narcissistic personality was hereditary, most was environment. Dr. Ramany also states that most NPD can be traced to events from childhood. Love to see if he has the actual study that shows 78% is heredity.
I haven't looked into what you are talking about, but I do know that NPD and narcissistic personality are different. The idea of NPD being largely hereditary wouldn't suprise me actually, given how exceptionally narcissistic someone needs to be to get a NPD diagnosis. The notion of narcissistic personality traits themselves (outside of clinical NPD diagnosis) is another matter entirely. I could easily see how that could be more nurture than nature.
NPD is an abbreviation for narcissistic personality disorder, so they’re the same. It’s important to remember that it exists on a continuum. Everyone exhibits narcissistic traits on occasion. The formal diagnosis happens when 5 or more of the traits are exhibited to a testing psychologist or psychiatrist.
I agree with you@@carolynwilson7736 . Tai spent so much time thinking he's so great and could predict everything like some kinda prophet. His need for attention, leading the conversation, and all that grandiose sense of self compared to others was RAMPANT throughout this podcast.
The advice in this video is valuable for the typical American. I started investing when I was 30 back in 1998. Today, I have a decent $3.7M nest egg, thanks to the careful supervision of my CFP. After learning all of this, my only regret is not starting earlier when I was 25. It may not seem like much but those extra 5 years are the most important.

@@CPeetG yes, Joe Rogan and Lex Fridman is good at sharing their own thoughts with their guest, so it's hard not to finish their podcasts, but with tom bilyeu, this happened with the recent month's robert greene podcast with bilyeu, Tom speaks about himself that isn't very... to put it nicely, not relatable, or to the very least, not relatable to the guest at all, too.
I agree. He's adding a lot of his own philosophy to the talk, of which I really don't care. I want to listen to Tai's thoughts. Whenever Tom starts speaking I put it on 2x.
the flow of the convo is a little awkward cuz almost every sentence in tai’s convo introduces a new idea or new way to perceive the idea vs Tom takes maybe 3-4 sentences to get to the idea. Not that 1 is better than the other, but seems that’s part of the awkward conversation flow , and Tom shut down but also can’t blame him cuz it’s exhausting to be talked at . Prolly one of those things where 3 speakers does better than 2
Probably not gonna land nicely but as an engineer , tai speaks closer to the fast pace gotta spit out and keep up with evolving ideas much faster than Tom and it is like … Tai is trying to tell Tom to get experience talking to more like … technical or guru or time constrained people … more often … to update a communication habit that lands well with people he’s leading vs being a learner . Probably not a fair assessment but I do think a third person to balance the pace of ideas like in other interviews tai has been on, is a great way to balance hogging the mic with reason
I have been listening to Impact Theory for years and this was the first interview that I did not enjoy watching. Not a really lovable person who does not know how to be interested in and listen respectfully to others opinion. It is a 3h monologue of someone uninterested in a conversation - just pushing his own thoughts as ultimate truth. Lot of ego that is not very attractive. We love you Tom 😊
At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.
Starting early is key to building wealth, and I prioritize investing. Learning from last year's experience, early investments have enabled me to build a suitable life.
I completely agree; I am 60 years old, recently retired, and have approximately $1,250,000 in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, having a portfolio-advisor for investing is genius!
So...I started out with the mindset "ok, let's give this guy a chance". I'm an hour in, and while I'm now reading "The Denial of Death" (just bought and downloaded it), I'm thinking this f'ing guy is 80% WTAF/STFU and 20% "Hmmm, alright.." He's definitely his own biggest fan. I couldn't take anymore today. I might come back to this interview, maybe. Tom's counter was very good to balance it. Overall, 49% invigorating/51% enervating. Nonetheless, highly appreciated, Tom. Keep 'em coming!
He reminds me of my managing director at work, he is 39 years old, makes a lot of money, does not have children, and is clearly his own biggest fan. Maybe that is what Peterson means, when he says, you don't really grow up until you have children?
@@bobby8630 Well...I think it's easiest to see one's most accurate reflection by how we react to the behaviour of others, and retrospectively I see echoes of my own past arrogance in the way he presents himself (I'm assuming due to his relative immaturity, self-justfied by his apparent financial success, seemingly unchecked by his peer group), and while I am also definitely my own biggest fan, I don't think I am above any other human, and believe you can't learn unless you shut your f'ing mouth and **listen** to others. 😂 In very small doses would be the only way I could stand this guy (and honestly, only remotely). I admit that on a maturation level, I was essentially an adult-age boy until the day I saw my son's face at his delivery (and I was 37).
Tom's a humble legend - and such a "man", as one of the 20% of women driven by Mastery, your work is great - and provides a swallowable masculine perspective of impact.
Tai Lopez's grasp of human psychology and cognitive biases is impressive. His ability to dissect and explain these complex concepts in a relatable way is truly commendable!
The god father said in the first movie” a man without a family is not a real man”. Ironically his son ended up losing his wife in the second movie but they almost rekindled in the 3rd. Even a top mafia boss from the old world believed family was very important. One thing that becoming wise mature adult entails is accepting its impossible to have it all.

I’ve been listening to a lot of your podcasts Tom & I just wanted to say, Thank you Tom. This one w/ Tai is the best one so far. Thanks @TaiLopez for your knowledge dump. Going to share this w/ my friends & Family.

Professional yapper 😆 there was so much insightful content in this interview and I’ll say it’s one of my favorites now. Tai Lopez has grown a lot over the years and brings up a lot of thought provoking ideas and fact. I got a few good chuckles from this interview. 😂
I have always found Tai relatable, and am glad to see him around again, sharing his personal life wisdom. My respect for both of you continues to grow.
That's a terrible thing to say, especially because it's not true, it's a terrible thing to lie. I didn't have any problem listening to him break things down. @@timelessadventurer
"Listen to me! Because I have clients that pay me 1 million to talk to me...." My god, dude step of the f*cking gas... What is the purpose of all that overkill of: "Please look at me. Look how great I am"? If you are trying to sell yourself or the little knowledge you are "doing", you are doing a miserable job!
What I fucking love about this conversation is that you can see Tom has gathered together all of his mind and psyche to be 100% in this because Ty Lopez is saying so many things that you need to be sharp to respond intellectually in a way that is edifying to the listeners and the conversation. Tom has that fire!
Tai thinks he's narcissistic about his ability to read people, but he's actually narcissistic about how much he knows. His real narcissism is not what he says it is, but what he shows you it is. How well read he is and that wealth of knowledge he carries. He knows enough to admit he doesn't know, and that keeps his narcissism about his capacity of knowledge low key but still high. It adds that extra hint of spirituality by being humble about his knowledge, which he was memed on, "KNOWLeDGE," which is the thing he is actually narcissistic in. He is good at speaking and shares his knowledge generously so we forgive him.
This may be one of the most blatant narcissistic personality I've seen Tom interview. Usually Tom takes charge of the conversation, and cuts off the guest often. This time the tables were turned lol!
These interviews are most likely paid engagements by either side. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tai Lopez paid to be on. Terrible interview as this guy tends to pull info outta nowhere. Incredible however to see how he’s been able to influence a particular crowd.
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you so much Tom. Although when people attain wealth, sometimes to maintain wealth can be an issue. I feel when you attain wealth, you have to find ways to diversify and It can be lonely at the top most times. Besides who trade the financial market?
Brother you said it all! Maintaining wealth can be an issue. Sometimes people get their and go on a decline. I trade the financial market. Which aspect of the financial market are you referring to?
Exactly man. I was referring to the stock or crypto market but willing to try out other aspects of the financial market. I’ve made gains from Nvidia and got my eyes on Solana. How do you trade?
Nvidia was superb this year. I hold some stocks and have been profitable. I trade based on the season of the market. It gives me a direction on implementing the right strategies for long or short term. I also trade based on the volatility of the market. Although it wasn’t easy till I came across a mentor who helped to keep me in the market loop. My mentor is Bernard Paul.
Paul is also my mentor. I’ve gained valuable insights from Paul and learnt about taking effective trade execution, optimising entry and exit points for better profitability
You do know this man is responsible for scamming an unbelievable amount of people. And generally misleading already vulnerable people. I guess that just shows how manipulative he is, that he can win over so many people like you.
I don’t know this guy very well, but I do know he likes to hear himself talk. It’s very courteous that he’s not willing to let Tom present his point of view. I really got tired of listening to him.🤨

Such a gift being able to witness conversations like this. Tom packs more erudite subjects and sophisticated thinking into an hour of conversation than my entire circle of friends/family produce in a year. Looking forward to AI helping move us towards the world where well developed minds are more common; a world where hopefully trauma, nutrition, and mental health play a much less significant role. I may not know a single person with any interest or insight on any of these subjects, but that doesn't mean I can't have a riveting and edifying conversation with ChatGPT/Bard/Bing/Claude/Pi/Mistral... All of which are available 24/7, never sick, busy, sleeping etc. and any one of which likely already knows more about every single one of these subjects then literally all the smartest people I know combined. We can't even begin to fathom the advantage this next generation has compared to all of the generations that have come before...

It was fascinating to watch such an intellectually stimulating battle. I saw Tom at times surprised by Tai’s solid arguments where initially it looked like Tom initially strongly disagreed with. How do you ultimately make a positive impact on the world? By bringing smart children into this world who will follow into your steps. Also, I noticed how Tom got excited at the example of 73 year old celebrity having a child with 29 year old girlfriend… 😏
I'm sure he know's his stuff, but I really get the impression that he would have been very comfortable as a tarot card "psychic". He've very proud of the things he "knows" he would have predicted. I'm seeing the rise of the classic sci-fi trope of the Techno Psychic. The fanatical belief that certain sciences can predict a person's future or proper place. It may come to pass but I'm sure it will only be accessible by exteamly advanced AI. But good on him for finding his niche.
I thought I was going to be watching Tom, but it turned out to be SNL! It features a new character called “The Interrupter” and proves that narcissistic personality disorder is, in fact, heritable and people are unaware of things about themselves that others find obvious. Tom is an amazing actor, never once losing his composure no matter how many times this clown tries to tell him that he’s not who Tom knows he is. Based on his “cold reading” of Tom as being “low anxiety” and Tom telling him (as he has said repeatedly on the podcast) that he is high anxiety, it certainly brings into question is big skill of “cold reading” people. He changes the definition when he’s wrong and tries to convince people they are what he says. This guest brought his mother…was that a first? Tom, you have superhuman patience!

@@CPeetGhe’s cringe asf
They aren’t even his own thoughts. He just regurgitates other people’s thoughts.
In 2024 let’s vow to phase out using the word F*CK in the title of every self help book.
I beg your F**king pardon sir, how the F**k would we know which F**king books to read if there's no F**king F**k in the Title!
Holy F**k I'd be lost!

Tai lopez is a global treasure. This man will always get credited for any success I find in this life.
So...I started out with the mindset "ok, let's give this guy a chance".
I'm an hour in, and while I'm now reading "The Denial of Death" (just bought and downloaded it), I'm thinking this f'ing guy is 80% WTAF/STFU and 20% "Hmmm, alright.."
He's definitely his own biggest fan.
In very small doses would be the only way I could stand this guy (and honestly, only remotely).
I admit that on a maturation level, I was essentially an adult-age boy until the day I saw my son's face at his delivery (and I was 37).
(Pardon my verbosity)
Tom's a humble legend - and such a "man", as one of the 20% of women driven by Mastery, your work is great - and provides a swallowable masculine perspective of impact.
Tai Lopez's grasp of human psychology and cognitive biases is impressive. His ability to dissect and explain these complex concepts in a relatable way is truly commendable!
Such a great interview, a great intellectual disagreement for the sake of the truth
This guy doesn’t understand a single thing he is talking about. Tom, you are a good listener, and your patience and gentle pushback are noted.
I think ur IQ is the problem here
What makes you believe that?
😅 yea
The problem is not Tai; the problem is a society that rewards folks like Tai. Tai is a scammer who finds a hole in the matrix, either by luck or skill, but it does not matter. Here is a quick exercise: compare, say, the CEO of Amazon with Tai. Who has provided more value to the world?
The greatest podcast interview I v listened to .
So interesting! 4ms of motivation. Material, mating, movement, mastery. So important to understand what motivates people, especially yourself…
He forgot the most important. Jesus!
Tai is the king of tangents 😂
The greatest interview of all time
I love how Tai talks smack about things and then uses them to explain his perspectives. It is entertaining and thought provoking.

Tai said psychology is a money maker, but even though it's useful for business, not all psychologists are rich, nor is it the highest paying degree.
@@LostSoulAscensionhow did you come to this conclusion - which framework of thought did you follow
Very true. Having confidence, being able to have an answer for everything and then be able to market themselves...
This guy is very smart. He brings good content. And diversity
Ever since I met Paul, I’ve learnt how to manage risks effectively using his firm ensuring a balanced and successful trade.
Tai’s ideology is beyond this time. Love that guy man!!
You do know this man is responsible for scamming an unbelievable amount of people. And generally misleading already vulnerable people. I guess that just shows how manipulative he is, that he can win over so many people like you.

Tai was amazing 🤩 he sure didn't let tom talks 🫠
