Got my Discovery recently and only driven it once so far. I was worried that it would be too small to enjoy outside but like you said, it makes for even more challenges and more thought on my driving. It’s fun and looks even better in person than videos show. Look forward to your mods.
The Discovery is a good choice! I’m glad that they’re capable enough for the great outdoors as well or else mine wouldn’t get very much run time. I have a few video ideas for this rig starting with some mods. Probably next week!
after three days i had to return the land rover variant. after about 3 hours of going back and forth with their online customer service we decided it was best for them to send back a new one. It seemed like i was having transition issues. I get it back today. really hoping this will work out.
Dang I hate to hear that! What was happening with the transmission? Mine has been solid so far so hopefully whatever you were dealing with was a fluke.
@@Bash_TheStampede it wouldn't drive any more. (I think i was having a transmitter issue) They came up with the gears being stripped. i was looking on amazon, and there had been a few reviews that just after a few hours of driving they had the same issue as well. i really loved it so im hoping as well its fixed. ive been waiting since july for it to come back!
So I’m not familiar with the 24 lift but with most of these little crawlers you can get some lift by running a longer shock. You don’t want to go too crazy because you can over extend your drive shafts, or cause binding issues if you go too far. The shocks I used to upgrade my D90 are longer than stock and lifted it a little. Injora also sells a 40mm set that would work and are 1mm longer than the ones I went for. I did have issues with the rear drive shaft at first, but that’s just because the D90 comes with a weird dog bone thing in the back. I think the longer wheelbase 24M models have a telescoping shaft in the front and rear so they should extend a little further than my D90 did.
@@Bash_TheStampede ok sounds good! I got some 40mil injora’s and some hub extenders. That should help with the larger tires. I had some 50mm shocks laying around and it was insane. Do you have a Instagram I can follow?
I have a link on my channel page, and I think my handle is the same as on TH-cam. 40mm Injora's sound like they'll do the trick, I'd love to have seen it on the 50mm haha, I'll bet it was TALL! Interested to hear how everything goes when you have it all put together!
Thank you! I do try to spend some extra time with each model and I’m glad you were able to see that. I want to “live with it” a little bit to give a more complete review.
Nice rover! Looks like it runs fairly decent! Gave you a sub. Gonna watch Bronco vid now. Love the Bronco's.
Thank you! I like the Bronco’s a lot myself!

Just got it back yesterday!!🎉🎉🎉
@@sethzorzi WOOHOO! Hopefully all is well from here on out!
I’m new to FMS, will the lift for the 24 work with the 24M?

Always enjoy your thoughts. You put in the time getting to know each vehicle rather than doing hot takes. 🫡
