Would it be possible for you guys to cover the 2018 battle of Khasham in Syria? It is the only (known) time US forces came into direct contact with Russia (Wagner group) there isn’t much out there on the topic but it was in mainstream news for a short period of time. It would be an interesting story to say the least if you guys are able to do a podcast on it

A call was made to russia to ask if any Russians were in the area, and they replied no after the massacre. A phone call was made back to russia copy no Russians are in the area
I remember asking my PSG what it was going to be like getting into a TIC, he had some generic answer that didn’t impress me. A few weeks later on our way Dow to Helmand we found out. His answer made more sense to me after that.
