i think the higher price is worth it if they give a guarantee that they put in an assortment of items, like they did in your bag, and not 25 of the exact same thing as sometimes happens.
Yes that would be fabulous. I have bought a box before and it was all valentines day kid cards and an other box that was only Bags
Or make categories - kids, household....That way families with kids can get stuff suited to them. I don't like getting boxes full of kids kits. I don't have kids or grandkids.

Like I stated in my Michael's video review, I looked boldly into the boxes I bought. I figure if Michael's can DOUBLE the price and only fill boxes HALFWAY then I darn sure am getting boxes that "I" want.

I think that Michael’s realized how popular they are, and that’s why they raised the price. There are you tubers who go out and buy 20 of them, leaving nothing for others. I got 2 bags a few years ago, but I honestly never see them anymore. I’m glad that you can use what you got. That is what is important!

I bought a $5 bag a long a while back and got things I've never used even in swaps so I haven't bought one again. The items in there were not bad in your bag.
This bag wasn't bad but I won't be buying a bunch. I'll go and shop 90% off

Last year I got a bag that had 2 containers of those orange and purple plastic bulbs. I made a decoration by putting a candle in a shallow bowl and surrounded it with all of the plastic bulbs. It looked pretty especially when the candle was on.

The replacement light bulbs are handy to have , I have a ceramic Christmas tree that take very simular light bulbs and I've lost a few over the years

Hi! I went through mine so fast because I had 5 boxes and 1 bag and did not even realize that decor book opens. Happy with that. I received the fall market decor too! That bead with leaf is adorable! Flowers are pretty.

They started putting them out yesterday and I know a few people found some today
Yea I heard they will raise prices in things including paper but see how it goes but you still made out okay. I never buy them lol our stores don't do them here tyfs 🦋💜

You got some nice stuff. I like the T-shirt. I saw the bags at my Michaels as I was leaving the store. I went back in but they were a lot of boxes in some and all Halloween in the other that I could see through the bags. I decided $10 was a too much so I didn't get one.
$10 is a lot that's why I only got one. I hope they sell at 90% so we can pick what we would like
The light bulbs get lost and broken over the years.
Could use some for crafts.
Maybe your tree has different colors and you can switch them out.

I live in NYC and unfortunately Michaels is the only large craft store in town. Hobby Lobby is all the way out in Long Island and New Jersey and Walmart is only in NJ. It is a good thing when I started knitting I stocked up on needles and yarn. Their prices has gone up ridiculously during the past year, so much so I rarely buy from them unless I have a 40% off coupon, or BOGO. I love Micheals but they've done us crafter's dirty in the past year. The $5.00 increase is just an extra insult. What a shame.

$10? Wow that’s crazy! Someone got some tiny gourds as tiny as those purple succulent pots and said that they were originally 79 cents and thought it was pricey and then she showed those mini succulents for $3 but didn’t say anything about those, I don’t know, but I thought…..no, that’s too much,…yep, that’s Michael’s! everything overpriced, that’s why we were looking forward to getting those grab bags, because we might get some cute stuff that we wouldn’t pay regular price for, even though they put too many of the same and sometimes even broken items, what the heck? 😒They shouldn’t do that. Tyfs! 😌

I did grab bags once. There was so much of the same things that I hated it. At the very least you got a variety.
I have definitely bought boxes before that were all the same items it was worth the $5
My store doesn’t do the bags. So no option to get one. The jump in price sucks but for what you’re getting in the bag I think it’s still a good deal.
I wonder what they do everything all the seasonal stuff if they don't do grab bags

I had been done with Michaels after they went away with competitor's coupons along with the good 40% to 60% off plus their sales now stink.
People were buying the stuff during covid and the shelves were bare and they realized they didn't have to give the good sales (my opinion) now its not worth it. I would rather buy it on Amazon

Ours usually had bags but they switched to boxes and they were all open but left behind. Mostly floral.
I dont blame people for peeking. $10 is a lot to ask when you dont know what you are getting

It's just plastic bulbs the light I'd in the tree I think it's extra bulbs if some get lost

They raise the prices because they could. They knew people would buy them regardless. That has never been something that I’ve been into so I pass them by all the time. Most of the time when I see them opened online the person that purchased the box is generally disappointed and that was one they were five dollars. If people didn’t buy them at the $10 price maybe Michael’s but lower the price

I never, well not true ONCE in 6 yrs I got one. I hate to say this but next yr n for a few yes after we are really gonna be feeling/paying for what happened when the pandemic hit. Next yr don't be surprise if it jumps to 15 or 20 a bag. I know smh but ya got some great goodies. Xoxoxo

Baby bye!!!! Those bags were worth it when they cost $2 not $10!!!! Especially the store by me, some folks post boxes. Our stores does the smallest bags they could possibly use and fill them with junk!
