I moved from awesomewm to qtile got tired of LUA and I'm decent at python I'm absolutely loving qtile now I start seeing people upload more qtile videos Is amazing! I have 2 scratch pads currently 1 kitty and 2 ranger
Everyone seems to love awesome, it's ok, but I'm with you on lua, I'm not a big fan. Mt kids want me to learn lua so I can build stuff on Roblox with them.
If we're talking pie, then cheesecake is my favorite. Best place for it is The County Line, and they have a chocolate sauce version that's great. Though I can't seem to find it listed in their menu I've had it every time I've been. If we're talking dessert in general, then tied for top spot with me would be a simple yellow cake with chocolate icing and a cold glass of milk.
Cheesecake is a close second. I would have to say the best place for pie around here is my kitchen or if I'm back home in the PNW, it would be my mother-in-law's kitchen.
Peach and blueberry pies are my favorite but never thought of a combo🤔 Funny you came out with this vid as I was thinking about trying for the first time, Qtile last night 😄
I didn't know about the 'on_focus_hide' . Thanks. Pie is my favorite, and so is peach, but pie is a rare thing around my house, unless it's store bought. 🤮🤮🤮
That would be Cheery, Apple and Coconut Cream Pie and Cheesecake. Vanilla Ice cream for 1 & 2 please! I will eat Peach & Ice Cream in a pinch if it is homemade only... AS for scratchpads, I know that they are the newish shinny thing and worm & fuzzy but I don't use them. Each to there own and there peach pie I always say... 🤣🥧🍑 LLAP 🖖 Off to get some pie. Thanks Jake!!!!
Coconut cream and cheesecake are awesome, cheesecake takes a very close second place to pie in my book, but it has to be just plain cheesecake, I like fruit on it but I prefer just plain cheesecake.
I love qtile but the only thing I'm not liking is the fact that I can only have 9 desktops or "Groups". On bspwm I had 25 per monitor. Yeah it's a bit excessive but my OCD is an issue. I jump around a lot and usually have a lot of browser windows open. I'm hoping that scratchpads will help. There just doesn't seem to be any way to have more than 9 groups per monitor. Oh well that's not a deal breaker for me as I've found that qtile is amazing and my Python skills are improving every day. Thanks for the awesome video.
Qtile is one of my favorites, I don't need quite as many workspaces as you but hey, to each his own. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching!

@@itstoxicqt never tried to map a roller before. Have you tried to use xev to check the output of the roller?

Your channel is an absolute gem!! Thank you so much
Thank you, I appreciate that. Welcome to the channel!!
First command you start at home directory `cd qtile` into the .config/qtile why? Why not ~/qtile?
I have my cdpath environment variable set so I can add directories to my cdpath that I can cd into from anywhere in my file system.
Thx really useful@@JakeLinux
I just come to raise my hand, excellent tutorial, thnx for sharing your knowledge
Thanks, I appreciate that.

Once you combine them, there is no going back.
I didn't know about the 'on_focus_hide' . Thanks.

🤮🤮🤮
Store bought is definitely not ideal, but I will say, sometimes it will do in a pinch.
I checked - everything is clean
Was there ever any doubt :D.
HI Jake, Qtile&Python lov. Side note the aussie meat pie is pretty good too. GVJ.
I love meat pie as well, shepherds pie, and chicken/or beef pot pie.
Yes please, now your talking.
This method seems to not work now, qtile crashes when adding scratchpads
thanks for the heads up, i will look into that and update my video if need be
BROTHER, YOU ARE THE BEST!!! You oooh really helped me!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
