Date A Live is an anime series adapted from the light novels of the same title written by Kōshi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako. The first season was produced by Anime International Company and directed by Keitaro Motonaga, covering volumes 1 to 4 of the light novel. It was broadcast on Tokyo MX from April 6 to June 22, 2013. The second season was produced by Production IMS which ran from April 12 to June 14, 2014

let's be honest, in Mio's mind, Shido was only alive to serve as a way to absorb the spirit powers of the girls so he wouldn't get killed by Westcott, and to serve as a vessel to bring Shinji back to life.

Here's my answer
In the past, shido and mio started dating, and then all of a sudden, SHIDO GOT SHOT and died. SHE STARTED THE FIRST SPACEQUAKE. Killing the murders
after recovering herself, shido almost died, so she did something as a sacrifice with all her power. SHE TRANSFORM SHIDO INTO A FETUS AND TRANSFER HIM INTO HER WOMB, and that's how shido became his son but at the end when he was born she send him to an orphanage but she was never seen again
But then if i had shinji memories i would remember and tell her if you keep on this path you'll just be like the people that killed me and you know how painful that was mio you can stop fighting you dont have to do this you killing them is just you reenacting what those people wanted to do to you and what your doing is just doing that as well your not bad i can see it and you also know that this isnt necessary we can live in piece but you need to stop so we all can live like a family so we all dont have to be alone anymore so we could and i know you how that feels so if you are the mio i fell in love with you would understand what im saying
