After being an active member in the SDA church for 12 years, I in the 1990's left because of their refusal to acknowledge and accept the person of the Holy Spirit. This issue became inflammatory for me when I confronted the pastor about it after I was admonished to stop raising my hands in worship and speaking in tongues. May SDA's do not know that Ellen White was spirit-filled and charismatic in her relationship with the Lord. Another example of how the truth was suppressed for the benefit of man's church aspirations and the suppression of the call of Women in the Kingdom of God. Hope this changes in 2025 as revival burns around the world !!!
