This takes me back to 2011 when I was on an airplane for the first time in my life. I must have been born to fly, because the experience of plane takeoff was one of the biggest thrills ever! The only thing I didn't know I could do -- but didn't -- was bring snacks on the plane. I had heard the TSA was strict about certain things after the whole 9/11 ordeal, but they weren't all that clear about what **was** allowed.
Had I known I could bring snacks in my carry-on, I wouldn't have felt so light-headed during a holding pattern. That's the last time I let myself go without eating so long between meals, especially pre-flight. 😂
