    I met Tevin Jenkins on Mother's Day, during dinner. I could hardly recognize him, he has slimmed down and looks like he's in the best shape of his life. He mentioned how Caleb had reached out to him and how excited he was to start the season. And me and my son were able to get pictures with him. After taking a closer look at the photos I noticed he had a huge smile on his face, like a big, cheesy, heart-felt smile, the kind you can't fake! It totally made my day.

    Interesting how involved both Tevin and Tyrique Stevenson have been in this process. Clearly, the FO looks at these guys as long-term building blocks. I don't think this is going to be an "if" the Bears want to extend him, it's going to have more to do with his price point given his injury history. What a turnaround for this guy. Great to see- he seems like just a great dude.

      That's not true. I watched a lot of film on Teven last season because it was so much fun. He's so good. What you probably saw was the difference with the guys next to him when he was on the left. There was one play where he had his man stonewalled at the line but had the awareness that Borom was beaten inside. He came off his guy and pushed Borom's past Fields allowing him to complete a 30 yard TD to Moore. On another play Teven actually blocked two guys on one play to enable a completion! Personally I loved the combination of Jenkins and Wright next to each other, but Teven's equally good on either side.

    Good for you Kevin… It matters, and you can afford to eat better so eat better and don’t eat junk food, too much soda, snacks with so many chemicals and preservatives… Don’t joke about organic.. food matters, just because a lot of you guys eat whatever you want from whatever restaurant you want and don’t care about what you put in your body doesn’t mean it isn’t important. Especially for an athlete, everything matters, preservatives can cause problems, heart problems, cancer, diabetes etc.… all the fast food and soda is dangerous for your health.. and why they give it to children is really puzzling because it’s a terrible habit to start. It’s No better than smoking cigarettes.
    It’s no joke. You can’t just eat whatever you want and not get sick. America is the sickest country in the world for a reason, we have more obesity and more health problems than anyone because it’s about money. It’s not about keeping people healthy and teaching them how to eat properly. Cancer is preventable and curable if you have enough food that contains vitamin B 17 a.k.a. amygdalin.. doctors don’t know this because they don’t learn about nutrition, they’re only taught about medicines. My dad was a doctor and my mother is a nutritionist/dietitian and she can prevent more illness and save more lives than a doctor can just teaching people how to eat properly.

      @@tobyhill5784 I’m not a public figure, so it’s none your business what I do.
      Comparing a football player, who volunteers to live a public life, to a non-public figure is ridiculous.
      Fields has sucked since he started in the NFL. All the experts say how talented he is as a big, physical runner. Running QBs don’t last long. He could be a RB, but he’s probably too tall to be great at that position. I don’t know if he can catch, but he cannot read defenses. So that’s why I suggest a DB/CB. He’s fast and tall and so maybe would make a good CB.
      He certainly didn’t earn the ego it takes to wear #1, and no one should wear that number.
      Keep crying over him, though. the Bears are better off without him, and the Steelers are worse off with him. They’re going to have him return kicks/punts. What does THAT tell you?
      You’re going to be one of those hypocrites that forget all about him once the Bears start winning. Remember this dialogue, hypocrite. I certainly will.

      @@Dr.JekyllJF1 is really good about not throwing interceptions and he did it on bears teams that lacked pass blocking and open receivers.. tucking the ball and running is winning football if you’re the best athlete on the field.
      Only talking about qb’s is lazy anyway.. football is such a team sport.. 3 years from now whatever stylistic or proficiency differences have emerged between Caleb and JF1 they will pale in comparison to the roster differences.

    • @Dr.Jekyll
      @Dr.Jekyll 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@jimcasey3480 I agree with most of what you wrote. I’m pretty steadfast against a QB that resorts to the run so often and also has too many run-first plays. Those QB’s are ”flashes in a pan.” The legendary QBs that played for long periods sit in the pocket and run only when necessary. Of course, they have the skill to read defenses as well, and Justin Fields doesn’t have that skill.
      I could not agree more with the rest of your comment. I detest the egotistical and self-centered behavior of modern athletes. One of the best stories I can remember is when Detroit’s big name wide receiver (can’t remember his name, but he’s an analyst and told this story on the air) was doing a lot of celebratory dancing during a Bears game and Urlacher laid a huge hit on him and said, “Do your dance now.” I loved that. Urlacher was the epitome of a humble teammate who led by example, knowing actions speak louder than words (and dancing). Also, I think JF’s selecting #1 as his number shows a little ego that might have exploded if he had more success.
