I've had good dealings with Southbank security. All about those criminals on Westminster Bridge. The Romanian mafia who get free reign in front of Parliament, In front of New Scotland Yard, inside the Westminster secure zone, at a site of a terror attack. Very strange that one isn't it? Until you realise that its police by Charing Cross police station. The worst station in the UK. I've concluded there are back handers. It's why the money is divvied up in front of NSY. So the recipients can see their cut is the obvious explanation. So I think this is one area where auditors can up their game. Video the scum. Call 999. Wait. Wait. Wait a long time. No response. It would jeopardise the kick backs. So then go and do a photo audit of the ministry of defence, or New Scotland Yard. They will obviously turn up fast. Which contrasted with the no response, causes problems. Why didn't they respond to a crime in progress? Are they policing the secure zone? Why are they protecting police and not the public? If they say no comment, then get NSY to send a PR person out. There and then. Who do they report to? Who told them to ignore the mafia? ....
This nonsense of declaring "this is private property" is just passive aggressive rhetoric and it needs to stop. These places are publicly accessible - their reason for existence is to serve the public and most of them are publicly funded in one way or another! - and they usually have no signs indicating a transition from a public space to a private space nor what rules govern entry to the private space. Utter sh!te these people talk.
