I have a 22 f150 Tremor. I get 3-4 mpg more than my 4Runner. I’ve had 2 gen 2 Raptors and for the trails I go on they were just to wide. Tremor really fits the bill for me. I have the Torsen diff in the front and it’s wonderful off road.
That is a great looking truck. Inside functional and even seems luxurious like a old Mercedes. Brian you fit that truck perfectly and look great in it. You should buy it.
Yo you said off roading .. I could take my Chevy sonic with this road . Could u pls do a proper off road with this tremor ? That will be great .. thank u
In all honesty, you should have a standard base model F150 4x4 following every square inch of this trail "test." I would bet the $25,000 savings between an XL and the Tremor, that it would be right behind the entire way. The only weakness in a base model is tires. And that's so easily (and cheaply) remedied.
You can pick out a brand new crewcab 4x4 STX for $20,000 less. Same frame, same color options, twin turbo ecoboost/10 speed trans, rear locker, even the 33" tires. Im wondering if that 1.5 inches of lift and the locking front differential is worth it. 🤔 Guaranteed it would have followed the Tremor every inch of this trail test.
Thank you for off roading the Tremor! I would have liked to have seen the trail turn assist demoed and your thoughts. I think the Tremor is the perfect truck for the person that needs to tow, and get off road. I could see how this truck would be perfect for someone that has a job that requires them to get off road, or a weekend warrior who wants to go on a hunting/fishing trip. Tow the trailer into camp, then get out in the brush. Or, someone that gets out in the woods for some logging. It would be great in the desert hitting tight switchbacks and exploring old mining camps. I would buy one with the mid grade package so I could get the Trail Turn Assist, and add the optional Torsen front axel. This comes in at about 60k US, and would give me everything I would want in a truck.
I've done trail turn in Broncos and it works great. I couldn't find room to do it in this episode before I ran out of time. Glad you enjoyed the review.
This is a great truck, but 10-15 years ago all trucks were designed to go off road. They were TRUCKS. Sad automakers have to make a specialty designed vehicle for off road since most F150 are basically cars now.
If you are referring to the front air dam and all season tires, those exist purely for efficiency, and are easily remedied. Today's standard F150 is quite offroad capable, people just don't do it unless it has some sort of "offroad" name now.

Paul, if I needed a half ton right now, this is a no brainer, but I think I’m going to need something bigger.
@@BrianMakse May be you should test drive a F250 with that 7.3 liter gas engine :)
My 2022 Tremor 402a is being delivered June 1st!! Thanks for the review! I have talked to so many people in forums that just love this truck!
They did a good job Reinvent the F150

@@kenreiner259 I got a confirmation of order Feb 24th and nothing since. I called the dealer for the VIN and they said no VIN has been generated yet.

Tell me you’re clueless about off road driving without telling me you’re clueless about off road driving.

Some people like to have luxury and status
Does the 2022 f150 Tremor come with a 2” or 2.5” tow receiver
Both

I've seen a few of these on dealer lots with 10k plus mark ups, eeeek
That’s a failure to negotiate.
@@BrianMakse For sure, they won't budge on price.

I had half tons then and they weren’t all intended to go off road.
