- Why You will Not gain Admission to Uni, (UG or Tech) with good WASSCE results or grades.
Seeking admission to your favorite university can be very competitive even with good WASSCE RESULTS OR GRADES. Now here are are the reasons why you will have good grades but still not gain admission to your favorite university, such as : University of Ghana-Legon or UG, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology- KNUST, university of Cape coast- UCC, UEW, UHAS, Nursing training or medical school amongst others.

No there’s absolutely no problem with that, I just think you could have chosen another program to increase your chances, but there’s no problem
I included a third name in my admission form which is not on my results slip. Will that be problematic?
There won’t be any problem. If you want to keep the third name that’s fine but if you do not intend using the 3rd name as your official name. Make sure the necessary corrections are being made at the schools admission when you are given admission. Thank you.

Helen, the credits are cool but the D7 is the Red Flag 🚩, but chances are high one will not gain admission.

They choose three core subjects and three electives
So it's based on the course you want to offer and it's cutoff points matching up with your aggregate

Please I want to offer sociology in UEW I had C6 in math c5 in English C6 in science C5 in English B3 in social studies.for My elective I had B3 in history C6 in government C6 in crs f9 in economic do I qualify for their cut off point
Mavis, all the grades in there would have undoubtedly given you a slot into that program but the F9 is what cannot be overlooked. Chances are sometimes you might be lucky and will be given admission or vise versa. But Ultimately I will encourage you to rewrite the paper ( economics) if you can to save yourself from unnecessary stress in future. Dm me on Instagram @Princess Edufia is you need further assistance

I had c6 in gka c5 in graphics and d7 in leather but my course says they want gka and graphics can I get admission?
You stand a high chance of getting into the program. If and only if consideration isn’t given to d7 ( leather) and your aggregate meets the programs cut of point.

Petroleum Engineering No! But you will need to check the course requirement for Information Technology to find out if any of your elective is required for you to be accepted in the program ( Information Technology)
