Sperone Frendo - Aiguille du Midi.
    Luglio 2020.
🇎🇧 Going up to the Aiguille du Midí one cannot remain indifferent to the beauty and logic of this spur, where snow, rock and hanging glaciers come together in a sinuous and elegant mix. We got up by cable car to the first station and placed the tent at Lac Bleu. The next morning we simul climbed the first roky part of the spur and went out on the right, where we slowed down a bit due to some icy sections. The final gully, on the other hand, was quite good. Thanks to the good conditions we managed to climb the spur in 6 and a half hours and indulge in one of the most expensive beers ever on the Aiguille du Midí terrace.
Overall it is a really nice climb: never too easy, never too deamanding and certainly partly tamed by the presence of the cable car

Hi dude, we spent the night near Lac Bleu which is about 15 minutes walk from the cable car. Usually, in the Alps, above 2000m, it is allowed to bivouac from sunset to sunrise. Anyway, it is always a good idea to ask the tourist office in case of doubts.
      See you
