The background storm comes across so subtly in the video that it genuinely made me think there was thunder outside of my house until you mentioned it despite it being completely sunny outside 😂
From watching the POV's I've learned that the 2nd and 3rd Lewis and 2nd and 3rd Tiana might all deliver the same line depending on rotation of the 2 lines they may deliver: 'This zydeco band can play hallelujah' - (Lewis 2) 'This band can play no doubt' - (Tiana 2) 'This band can jam'. - (Lewis 3) 'They sure can play'. - (Tiana 3) This is going to drive me nuts.
Thank you for the recap of Tiana’s, Josh! How you described the ride’s plot, reminds me of a Disney version of The Blues Brothers via “getting the band back together”.
Josh, great video! I appreciate your honest and level headed review. I'm so tired of the arguments etc over the whole thing, The rampant disappointment and expectations of something earth shatteringly different. It's a re-them of the same flume ride what did people think they were going to do?? We knew it would be a rs-skin. I love PATF and having seen what's been released so far I think it does look great. I love the "Special Spice" song. I agree with you that there's is something missing. I think not having some sort of villain or tension/climax like Splash is what is making it fall short. If it was simply just this story as a normal omnimover dark ride it'd make more sense. I am looking forward to riding it in Nov. I honestly can't remember the last time I rode Splash Mtn since I don't like water rides. I never even rode it out at DL on my 3 trips there.
5 years from now when this is no longer new, will this be a must-ride every trip like Pirates or Haunted Mansion? Splash absolutely was, no question. Anything less than that is a failure I'd say.
Great balanced review. I'm hoping to get on in July but I wasn't tied to Splash. I expect to react the same as with Frozen - I loved the Maelstrom & I loved Frozen, so I liked the re-theme. I liked Splash as a log flume ride & I liked the Princess & the Frog, so I will probably like the re-theme (it looks good).

That’s hilarious 😂

I really hope this keeps getting fine tuned and progresses. I’m excited for this attraction

Nice balanced review thanks. It feels like the Disneyland one will never open. It’s so ripped up over there.
Im glad you were able to ride this and that you put your video out along with all the other vloggers dude
No fans in the queue is crazy. At this point fans should be a given at every outdoor ride.
Are you going to do a follow up when it opens up to the public, like whether the stuff you mentioned was fixed?
That storm was wild lol.
Forreal😂
Just do a spoiler video😂. Also make a patreon for behind the scene or additional content for your people that support you.

Can't wait until this opens in Cali 🎉
Will be here before you know it!
I hope they get this all worked out by November
They will!
Stopped the video at the spoiler warning (thank you btw!) but really liked your reaction!
Thank you! Hope you enjoy when you get the chance!
We're going to have to wait until we go before we watch this, but we can't wait to see what you think. 😅

It won’t exist in 5 years. It’s an absolute failure.
@@someguy4253 it sounds like it's an albatross on Bob igers neck.
I agree with this 100%

Question of the week: If you could have Disney redo any ride, which would it be?
I like it
Wrong answers only
Hope I can get to ride it one day!
Can’t wait to hear your review!
guess i’ll have to settle for the POVs for now 🥲🥲
Sounds rough couldn’t be me
