Hey Alaska Baggage, You tagged my bag to Cincinnati on 7/29/2023. My bag finally made it to Cincinnati on 7/30/23. The Cincinnati baggage office told me they were transporting my bag to my house and I would be delivered today 7/31/23, however I got notice that they created a FedEx label and it will arrive on 8/3/23!!! Really this is the worst customer service ever #AlaskaAirlines. #AlaskaAirlinesBaggage. Is this the best you can do? I have called the Cincinnati baggage counter and left messages and no response!!

All the pages get printed too large. This has happened at 3 different computers/printers with 3 different people so I don't believe that I am causing the problem. I've tried the reducing option, which didn't work. The baggage tags take 2 pieces of paper each and so do the boarding passes. I'm sure that those won't be accepted as an approved form. Very Frustrated! I had many other things planned today instead I spent several hours trying to get this right.

Denise Vogel To make the image smaller, you would set it up in the same way you would put muiliple []photo] images on one sheet. I just did it printing, off line, a saved image of my boarding pass. At first it was as wide as the sheet, then I reset the image as if I was desiring to put two images on one sheet of paper.

well your boarding pass should be digital, just use the airline's app. This is for when you get the airport, use the automated kiosk to print the tags and put them on your bag, then drop them at the automated conveyor belt. easy :)
The only time you go up to the airline's counter should be if you have multiple bags and need to check them....if you have just a "carry on" and a "personal item", no need to go there at all, just checkin to the flight with the app and go straight to TSA screening for the terminal. When I fly I normally just have a carry on and a personal item, so I don't even have to go anywhere near the customer service counter :)

seatac doesn't have the automated kiosks yet? I don't use it because I make a point not to have more than two bags, one for under the seat in front of me and one in the overhead bin. 🙂

@@neutrino78x yes of course they do. But if you’re checking a bag you have to wait

@@Mangold2865 where is the line in this video though? It's not like this video where you print out the tag yourself and then show your id to someone and put it on a conveyor, done? Well anyway, like I said I don't check bags. 🙂

@@neutrino78x why would Alaska show lines in a commercial where they are trying to promote ease of self tag?? 😂.
Bro. I live in Seattle. And fly monthly. Yes. They have kiosks. Yes. You can easily print your bag tag. No. You can’t just “drop your bag”. Yes. You have to wait in line to do so! Smh. Im done now. Have a great day, night, morning, or whatever time of day it is where your Alaska Super Fan ass is from 👍

@@Mangold2865 interesting. I've seen ones where you can just drop your bag though. The kiosk is right next to the conveyor. Maybe not at Seattle.

Tie two or three colored ribbons around the handle to your luggage to warn others that this is not their luggage. People grab luggage at the turnstile and take it home before you ever see it.
Use a man’s “half windsor” knot for the best look.
Anywhere you put your bag, it could be grabbed in error. Example: overhead compartment, unloaded from the bus, at the hotel lobby, turnstile.....
