Almost made me tear up, man! Great video and story. My '89 Japanese spec has been in the shop since last spring getting a rebuilt 1270, new suspension and exhaust. Should be done this spring. I can't wait!
Great video Jeremy. As usual top notch work. You need to do a throughback video when we went to PIR back in 1991 and tracked our minis. Or better yet some video of Paul's old Banshee in the dunes.
One day man! I never thought I would get one anytime soon (im also 18) but somethings are just destined to happen. I will be picking my mini (which is also my first car) later his month. Thanks to some help from my mom we were able to scrap up enough money. Just keep working towards one and stay positive!

Nice video, but turns out there are actually 684 Knightsbridge minis made, still rare though. The works kit is freely available to buy today from Cooper Car Company - I think you may well be the first to do one though Jeremy.

Great video. I live in the uk , me and my partner both have a mini. The only car , I have owned, that still puts a smile on my face when I drive it.

That Mini looks like my mini,black on black,with sunroof, and it's been off the road for at least 15 years.
I'm now 18, but have wanted a classic mini form the word go!! There the best, just wish I could be luckie enough to own one, one day!

By the way, why can't you drive them on American highways? Is it because of the safety precautions in it for it's age?
USA allows cars into the country 25 years and older.
We were trying to say it is the only left hand drive black Kightbridge with a genuine John Cooper Works conversion we are aware of.

Jcw kit should give you 90 bhp ? Herein uk they are 90 bhp
