Proto Tech Tip - Chemical Conversion Coating (See Note Below)

Every week, Team Protocase is bringing you a Proto Tech Tip video, where we'll give an informative look at a particular aspect of sheet metal fabrication and CNC Machining.
This week, Cody from our Engineering & Design Services team talks about one of the finishes that we offer: chemical conversion coating. Chem-film is a coating process that applies chromate to the metal. This creates a surface that is corrosion resistant, durable, and exhibits stable electrical conductivity.
**Note: To clarify, Protocase qualifies our process of meeting the requirements of MIL-DTL-5541F Type 2 Class 1A & 3, and -81706B, as CHEMEON TCP-NP is not on the QPL (Qualified Products List).**
