      Welcome and awesome. If you do purchase them, try and purchase them in early Spring or early Fall this year. They will be much healthier

    Great information. Thank you for the video. I know im late, but i just got into citrus this spring.
    Couple of questions if you happen to see this. I got a kumquat (unknown variety on semi dwarf rootstock), and a meyer lemon. The lemon is growing gangbusters. The kumquat has little growth but keeps flowering. The only difference i can think of is, the kumquat was very water logged when i purchased it. I didnt trim any roots, as it was a much smaller tree. Its in better soil and a better draining pot since the day i got them. Is it possible there is root rot contiuing, even though its much drier now? This is 5 months after repotting. So, im really unsure why it wont grow but continually sets fruit.

    Hello! What size pots are these and at what point do you upgrade to a bigger pot? Or do you cut the roots ?

    • @elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg8425
      @elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg8425  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i do not cut roots, pots are 40 gallons they do not make them anymore. You do not need my size pots to grow a healthy tree. Up pot when the soil no longer holds water

    So do you leave the fruits in the pot to rot or do u eventually eat them?

    Nice video, thanks.
    Is there a better time of the year to prune or can I do it at any season??

    • @elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg8425
      @elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg8425  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Citrus trees can be pruned at any time of the year, however early spring si always preferred. Do not prune trees under 3 years of age.

    Good evening. Just in time. Got 6 citrus and kumquat, and blood orange didn't bloom. Will try pruning.

    • @elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg8425

      Shalom, do not prune the blood oranges. They have their time when it blooms. You can prune the kumquat though
