      @@MKMK-xo9lo corporations come to government looking for favorable bills to be passed and in a lot of instances subsidies from the government. So if politicians know that the government is going to pump a lot of money into a company. Well stock is going to be going up for a while.

    Something I learned 35 years ago as an Independent Union Official, as well as later on as a Steelworks local Union Official, a corporation budgets its labor, and what you get on their second offer, is what they truly budgeted for. The first offer is always a low ball, just so it can give the appearance of tough negotiations once its expected rejection is realized. Anything a Union gets in addition to the second offer, will always be balanced back out by layoffs. In effect, the corporation is still going to stay within its labor budget, no matter what additional concessions the Union receives.

    Pelosi's trading makes me nervous. Anyone else could be doing it worse. Fix that for the future. If she used the loop hole... no punishment, no venom, "don't hate the player, hate the game". But....but,... close the loop hole. Since Trump hit office and wanted to clean out some of the swamp. That means exactly this. Find the "loop holes" and close them. You don't have to go all "finger pointing" and guns blazing to get those that have used the loop holes. Just fix it for the future. Just like driving "short cuts" or secret fishing spots. If you tell others... they get spoiled. When all the money just pours out, you have to fix the HOLES to stop the container from not filling (buckets with holes don't fill).

If not put a 75% tax on any gains they make during their time in office. Term limits and also make lobbyists and lobbying illegal. Get back to thinking about We the People first instead of yourself.

    Let's talk about US inflation. ① Behind the US trade deficit is the large scale of imports of consumer goods due to vigorous consumption. ② Developed countries like the US are putting pressure on jobs in the manufacturing industry as labor costs and other imported production costs rise. ③ Due to the economic recovery from the new virus, consumption has increased and imports have expanded more than before, resulting in the largest trade deficit ever. ④The rise in SDGs worldwide has led to an increase in the amount of imports of energy-related products from the EU, Canada, and Mexico.

My home value is way up, I would rather be paying only half the property taxes I was before this crazy administration got hold of the dollar. All my gains are in dollars that don't buy what less dollars bought before.

    • @thefobbie0034
      @thefobbie0034 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PaulVega-y9v - Yet the hidden correlation for the growth has been the massive consumer spending due to the massive rise in consumer debt - rise in credit card debt and mortgage borrowings at 9.1%! At the same time Biden is boasting about increase in wage levels means increase in cost of goods and services therefore Americans are having to pay more for US goods and services and at the same time the CPI in November increased by 7.2% in the food and energy industry - funny how inflation is back up on the rise!
      More and more Americans are having to work 2-3 jobs in order to survive in this inflated economy BUT the question is how long is this growth going to be sustainable considering it is serviced on consumer debt and the auto industry going through lay-offs and a rise in illegal immigration employment!!!!
      Biden has already increased the US National Debt by USD$6.2 trillion in under 34 months - that is not even 3 years!

  • @abstractreasoner
    @abstractreasoner 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    The EV market isn’t as large as some companies thought because of the limited charging infrastructure. This is where another mistake is being made. Tesla and others are taking care of chargers along thoroughfares but none are addressing the lack of residential chargers. Most customers will not retrofit their homes with proper chargers but this is where EVs are supposed to be charged 95% of the time. The only solution is for government or auto companies to subsidize this to force it to get done.

I saw an ad for some ED remedy at the start of an anti EV vid, got me wondering.

    Should not lower rates at all. This is pressure from Wall St for corporate debt refinance costs against profit and valuation. Historically 7% mortgage rates are normal especially when you factor in todays wages . The problem is because they gave away free and cheep money for years they drove up housing appreciation way beyond the normal 3 to 5% to 40% over the last couple years . Since World War II, the United States economy has performed better on average under the administration of Democratic presidents than Republican presidents. The reasons for this are debated, and the observation applies to economic variables including job creation, GDP growth, stock market returns, personal income growth and corporate profits. The unemployment rate has fallen on average under Democratic presidents, while it has risen on average under Republican presidents. Budget deficits relative to the size of the economy were lower on average for Democratic presidents.Ten of the eleven U.S. recessions between 1953 and 2020 began under Republican presidents.
    From 1948 through 2023, the party holding the presidency has changed hands ten times. Every time a Republican took over from a Democrat, GDP growth fell. Every time a Democrat took over from a Republican, GDP growth rose.
