this camping is straightforward common sense...looks like the campsite fireplace is already set for you...and glad you were able to tell which mushroom is safe to eat...
Whenever you walk past the camera and keep walking off into the distance makes it so much better because thats so much work for you to walk all the way back and get the camera. I dont know why, but that is something I appreciate when watching.
Your shelter couldn’t be more perfect. I noticed you said it has no brand name. I’ve never seen a better plow point type shelter! Can you tell me it’s dimensions? This is perhaps my favorite video of yours. Thank you for being so damn good at our craft! I’m VERY certain many more people appreciate it than just myself.
Thank you. its a polycotton tarp 10'x10' gifted by a friend. any tarp with the same dimensions will do. polycotton is more spark resistant (fire embers)
I can't believe I've only just discovered this amazing channel. Such peace and simplicity...and great skills also! I think I'm also going to have to put one of your paintings on my Christmas list too!
Wonderful job filming this one... I know it's hard work, but wow does ever pay off! I love Winter camping and view the morning snow as a good friend coming to visit. Loved the chicken leg hack... I gotta try that one! Thanks for sharing.
Greetings from Pennsylvania, USA! Love this video. I am intrigued by how you set up your tarp. I am going to try that setup soon! Thanks a million for sharing!
I love your channel. Great shots and angles. I appreciate your effort in bringing us well thought out videos. I watch a lot of bushcraft channels and you by far are well practiced in the art of creating something from nothing. Very precise. Very grateful. Thank you!
Ric👍👍 Maybe not so easy with all the filming, but simple and enjoyable. Really like this type of overnighter camping, minimalist but done right. Yeah, the loggers may add to the sound at times, but no big deal. Silent snowfall in the forest is the best of all, waking to it is special. Great video again, top notch👍 Enjoy!
Your approach to show viewers the nature and what you do makes us so relaxed and appreciative. (Some uploads are so showy; face and talk...) You take us to the nature without any word. We learn things from seeing what you do, again without any word. You are one of bests up-loaders of this kind. Thank you so much!
Great movie. A perfect tutorial for someone like me. A nice place to stay in it forever. Stay Safe and welcome to the English forests of My Self Bushcraft
New to your channel. Love your content and love no commentary...just what you're doing and the sounds of cooking and of nature, etc. So glad I stumbled upon your channel...oh love the music and art too! ;)
Another fantastic video Ric... I'm thinking that you should consider raising your rates... The mental health benefits in my opinion are priceless... Thank you. From the central coast of California.. 🇺🇸🙏👏🏕👍
Hi Ric: What a beautiful spot. I don't know how you kept others away but I could smell that chicken over here. Outside my window on the north shore of lake Ontario we have just had our first snow, about 15 cm. your right the world does look more beautiful & exciting. Thanks Brian 79
I’ve never seen a shelter shaped that way before. Most plow points tend to be long but very low to the ground. I feel like you gotta be damn sure of your wind direction, thought having the fire so close seems to be a plus
Have you ever seen or even befriended a Sasquatch I understand that if you are fortunate enough to become friends with one you'll always be safe in that area.
with a pinch of salt (per taste) and some grounded black pepper..those chicken bones.. you can make some chicken bone broth...keep the body warm even its just to keep yourself dehydrated.. stay safe.. GOD BLESS.
Hi if possible can you do the same vids but also add a clip of the night time activities such as do you keep the fire going or you stay in a sleeping bag? Thanks GREAT content you have!!!
When you walk off into the distance then have to walk back to get the camera to setup the next shot I wonder if you’re thinking “man, this would be a lot easier if I had a cameraman”!
Another great video. Definitely a favourite. Those chanterelles look delicious. Do you know what the coldest you've camped out with just a tarp, by any chance? Keep up the amazing work and thanks for sharing!
You don't take protection? Rifle? For bears, wolves, wild boar or a territorial giant moose? This is Sweden right? Or is this a private property not very wild? Very nice video I enjoyed very much. Lovely shots and nice camp set-up
By far the best Bushcraft content on the platform! missed
I love the sound of stepping on dead branches and fallen leaves. Good !!!
Watching your videos motivated me for nature exploration...I’m going my first solo camping after few days ..thanks to your videos
this camping is straightforward common sense...looks like the campsite fireplace is already set for you...and glad you were able to tell which mushroom is safe to eat...
Another relaxing moment, just listening to the sound of nature
Awesome life in woods. So peaceful time when watching your videos. You push us up to the natural.
So relaxing in this troubled world, thank you.👍
Very relaxing video during this pandemic..
I love the woods....So perfect
Really love your artistic approach to all...bushcraft, cooking and photography. Top notch. Thanks much!
Whenever you walk past the camera and keep walking off into the distance makes it so much better because thats so much work for you to walk all the way back and get the camera. I dont know why, but that is something I appreciate when watching.
Nice wood chopping skills. Very safe
I love the mossy woodlands you go to. I have to make a raised bed now my 60 year old body doesn't like getting up off the ground anymore.
Nice setting and trip. Ths!
Thanks for the video. Love the tarp set up and the spot you picked for your trip

19:15 , don’t throw away the crispy bits! That’s the best part! 🍗🍗
Super place
Camp looked great. Waking up to light snow is a bonus. I am skeptical of the chicken legs. Overall this is another great video. 👍
Greetings from Poland
BEST. 👍👍👍
Well done. Nice camera work.

I don't why but I find that the way you cooked those chicken legs is so hilarious... love your videos. Peace from South Georgia USA. Your to awesome.
Nice life!

Nice 1 strike fire
What state or country are you in

You have cornered the market on silent Bush craft films that is for sure! You have people copying your style now
Does he keep the fire going at night too?
Hi if possible can you do the same vids but also add a clip of the night time activities such as do you keep the fire going or you stay in a sleeping bag? Thanks GREAT content you have!!!
I have, multiple times
lindo acampamento
Camping 🏕 🔥 🍳 🙂🤠
Looking good bro. Snow here now and going to do a vid on my channel soon too!
For some reason, reminds me of the Marlboro man commercials
Hola , hermoso paisaje el bosque nevado . Por que no usas carpa cerrada con esa baja temperatura ?
Great video! I really liked your plow point shelter. Just a wool blanket and a bivy sack? I’m going to try that.
Thank. Yes and warm clothes

No
Dream of such woods in my backyard 😀 is this in Sweden ?
Another great video. Definitely a favourite. Those chanterelles look delicious.
Do you know what the coldest you've camped out with just a tarp, by any chance?
Keep up the amazing work and thanks for sharing!
Thanks. -20 Celsius
I would take pre cooked ones in batter and warm them up,
♥️♥️
