I adore hoyas, I have a real predilection for Hoya Mathilde and I have recently acquired a cutting with three nodes of Hoya Serpens. Now I have dad Hoya Obovata, mom Hoya Mathilde and baby Hoya Serpens, it's fun. The hoyas that have bloomed for me are on the terrace hanging from a tree, they love it. Have a nice day!!
It's so interesting seeing the parent plants next to the crossed plant isn't it? I love the idea of hanging plants from a tree, it mimics their natural environment beautifully. I sometimes take some of mine outside in summer and leave them on the balcony when it's warm. They always grow so well when I do, even if I can only do it for a few months a year. Thanks for watching and saying hi!
Thanks! I started collecting tiny cuttings during the pandemic, it's been fun. I rarely bring home new houseplants now though, too many more and I'd not have anywhere to put them!
@@EighteenandCloudy It's hard to resist bringing new cuttings home, I do that with succulents and found some new on our last vacation in Croatia that I soon will plant in soil. I used to have my home full of houseplants when I still lived in a flat in Vienna, but since I have my garden and the countryside around, I don't have the urge anymore to need so many plants inside. They are taking really quickly up a lot of room, but are wonderful companions!
@@wideeyedtree I think that's part of my motivation too. We live in a flat at the moment, and the view from our windows isn't very inspiring. Having plants indoors makes up for not having any green space at home. I was gradually easing back on houseplants by last autumn anyway, but then when we started our allotment I directed a lot of my love of plants into nurturing seedlings.
Thank you! I think sometimes the more common hoyas like all the Carnosa and Pubicalyx varieties are seen as less interesting or share worthy, but I love them, particularly because they're reliable growers and not fussy!

Gorgeous Hoyas
Thanks!
What a sweet kitty 🐈⬛. I enjoyed all of the Hoyas and it was nice to see Krinkle 8. Not many show it. All of them gorgeous.
