Cast characters has a nerf permanently applied to their stats, and dlc straight up is better than base game, and most cast characters have trash super souls, there's zero reason to use say krillen, ever. Not only all of that, but 99% of moves are garbage, so even if we're just looking at custom characters, there's a set number of good combinations, all of which need to be on male sayians, humans, female majins, or namekians, as they're the only good races, with Saiyans by far being the best because they have THE MOST OPTIONS PERIOD, mostly because of all the transformations, and their combos being that much better. Hell, some races like frieza outright don't have stamina breaks. Anything will be more balanced than XenoVerse.

Sign of Awakening, backhit with Y, X, Sign of Awakening is a thing that works and would've killed, alternatively if you felt like a 2nd SOA wouldn't have had enough power, you could've done SOA, backhit with Y, XYX, Super Kamehameha. That tech is something he's had since he dropped that literally no one uses even if they know about it, just like certain characters such as Janemba being able to use multiple charged heavies in one string.

Just as a PSA for people who don’t know, I did some testing and calculations and found that Ultra Instinct Goku (the white haired one) has a really God-Tier super soul that may make him better than Ultra Instinct ~Sign~. The Ultra Instinct super soul: Boost damage done by all attacks by 20% Boost stamina recovery rate by about 30% Boost movement speed by about 20% Decreases damage received (I have not calculated the percentage reduced but I suspect it to be around 20% too) Slightly boosts ki restored This super soul is health gated at about 50% or less but I have not verified this number. For now, assume critical health requirement

With a 15% boost, a combo string that gives you 130 ki (1 & 1/3 a bar) will give you 150 ki instead (1 and 1/2 a bar), so the shorter that string is the more often you'll be able to get the extra 20 ki.
I kinda want this super soul for UI CACs. Just tie it to the UI transformation as a requirement and it could be like the Kid Buu Purification super soul where it’s cracked buffs make up for an underwhelming transformation.
during the time that steedoj was fighting the broly i rewatched it and he took out 16 bars of health to beat him and in the end the broly only took out 5 bars from steedoj man he really didn't deserve to win there as he had everything going for him but he was losing so badly in fact dude lost almost 9 bars of health before steedoj used a capsule get rekt flawdaaboi
I think if I was in that broly match, I would have just made em get drained of items/ limit burst and put them at 1 HP, then just pop the full restore capsule and timer stall em for the whole 10 minutes till they ragequit
