Don’t know the source material at all but had a weird very early Saturday morning moment where you started using polymer clay and making wormy dealies and using Vallejo and now I’m expecting I’ll switch over to NorthOfTheBorder (my other Saturday morning watch), and he’ll be making another realistic Lego piece. Not that this is a bad thing! It was fascinating to watch your process, please do more of this 😊 (Also NotB content isn’t aimed at your audience, but you should check out a few of his models for how he makes fur in clay - different every time but great results - also dry brushing to bring out textures which is like magic).

For my polymer clay, I use an old pen ink tip/empty ink cartridge to draw lines or patterns in my clay. It rips less and gives the same effect.
